I went back and forth about the Medium size, because my daughter (got this for her 7th bday) was right on the line with a 21 inch inseam (52 pounds). But I wanted her to feel comfortable on the pony right away, so I went with Medium instead of Large. It turns out Medium is the perfect size for her. She hoped right on and can easily operate the pony. I think this size will work for her for a long time too. And yes, it’s a very cool toy! It’s still very expensive, but I do like that it doesn’t have a battery that will just die in a year like the other ride on cars. This seems like it will last longer. My daughter was beyond excited to receive the toy. She rides it in our house and also around our culdesac.

The BEST gift for all horse crazy, active kids! Easy to assemble. Sturdy, well made horse. My nearly 4 year old daughter jumped right on it, within minutes figured out how to make it go and won't get off it now!! Best Christmas gift ever! Only flaw in the design is that the horse does not go backwards, making maneuvering around the house difficult, but my daughter is working around that easily. Will be buying another one of these when younger daughter is big enough to ride and older daughter outgrows the size small model.

Really well made. Inside support is metal and very solid. This is not going to tip over by accident. The rear wheel design is such that up-and-down motion of the child causes slow forward motion only, with a one way breaking system. The unicorn will not travel backwards. The wheels are "RollerBlade" style rubberized wheels that are well made and resistant to wear. The handlebars on the head allow for easy right and left steering. The fur is thick and nice with well stitched seams. There is nothing cheap about this product and no weak areas that I've found to date. This should easily last as many years as my daughter's interest holds.

My granddaughter loves it.. my daughter and I bought it for her 4th. Birthday. It was not cheap. It is easy to ride and the size is perfect for her. It seems that it functions good and is sturdy. It was little harder to assemble it was written by a Chinese, I do not think they assembled one.

I got the small unicorn for my 2 year old granddaughter. Well made and looks exactly as pictured. It is well worth the cost! My granddaughter is petite, 2' 9", but she can reach the pedals enough to make the unicorn walk. She loves it! This was a great gift!
