This is a great keyboard tray. It provides a solid work surface and it is adjustable to the working height you need. Very easy to install. Comes with a template for drilling the holes and all hardware is included. One thing that could be a little better is the slide. It is a friction slide but works great and not reason enough for me to deduct any stars

The good: Installation instructions really good. Parts fit well. Good angle and adjustment. The middling: Single screw adjustment screw for tilt, and raise/lower makes this awkward to adjust. When you slide it, the keyboard tilts and is unwieldy. Tracks on which the tray slides are poor - slide i harsh and rollers don't necessarily roll, but actually slide. meh... The best: Seller read my review, and offered a refund if I'm not satisfied. That's great service.

I installed under a built-in shelf/desk unit. I had to do quite a bit of measuring and prep before I got to the installation itself - primarily due to the fact that the underside of my desk unit has cross-braces I had to deal with. Once I got to the install, first, I taped the template to the bottom of the desk area; second, punched locations for my holes. Then drilled 3/32 holes only to the depth of the provided screws (I used the longer ones). I was by myself, and trying to install the pull-out is a bit unwieldy as provided. So ... remove the two stop screws at the front of the track-plate that retains the adjustable pull-out unit. Be careful to catch the nylon stop-washers. Then, pull the slide-out portion out of the unit. Now, one person can then proceed with screwing in the base plate/track to the bottom of the desk. Finally, slide the pull-out portion back in, replace the stop-screws and the nylon washers and proceed with the rest of the install. Pretty straight-forward deviation from the provided instructions. The unit is sturdy enough for typing and mouse work, and nicely adjustable to help with better ergonomic placement of the keyboard and mouse. I might add a larger mouse extension, but the space provided seems to be enough for a decent range of mouse movement for now.

It's very solid and heavy. Exactly what's needed for a tray of this style, with one extension in the middle. I like the way it stays in place. There are two rubber bumpers that hold it there. When you lift up on the tray, the rubber releases and the tray slides easily. I saw a few people who think that's a bug, but it is actually a well-engineered feature. I'm totally satisfied, am glad I bought it, and think it's easily worth its price.

I bought this because of the ability to vary the height and angles so that I could find the most ergonomic position for my setup. It worked perfectly, but there were two issues that led to me returning it. First, the bottom edge of the front lip is a sharp 90-degrees. Everytime I would slide my chair back and forth, I would scrape my hands or my legs on the bottom edge. It became uncomfortable really fast. Second, the slide required a ton of force to pull the tray in and out. I would slide it back and forth often since I move back and forth between the desk a lot, and it became cumbersome to fight with it every time. Other than that, the item looks great and appears to be of very high quality. There was a slight wobble when fully extended, but not enough to be bothersome. If those 2 issues were resolved, I would buy again.
