SlickMod Chrome Delete Blackout Vinyl Overlay for 2016-2021 Honda Civic Coupe Window Trim (Gloss Black)

So I seen some bad reviews were left. Well this is what you ordered, vynil to cover chrome. It's not a sticker, it's not a peel and stick application. Watch videos on how to do this! I wiped my area and fingers with alcohol wipes. Cut the strips out on the backing paper, start on the corner edge and work your way back or forward to the square end. Leave the backing paper on and only pull off what you need as you go. It is forgiving vynil due to the air release and you can reposition in small sections. You can't pull on it or it will stretch and warp. This is meant to be slightly stretched and bent around the curves ... again not peel and stick. This was my first time doing this and yes it's not perfect but all in all, it looks great and I got what I ordered. Nothing about the seller or material can be blamed for any imperfections I have. BTW, there are very few imperfections! Most people would not notice, I do because I installed it. Watch videos, cut it out leaving the backing paper on, TAKE YOUR TIME, don't stretch it out, use a heat gun to seal. Time will tell how long it holds up but so far I am very pleased with the outcome. For some of you, it might just be better to go to a shop. Remember to rate the product itself and not whether or not you know how to properly install it. Computer cut my butt!! Install was tough, you have to stretch a little while applying, but either it'll be short on one end or the other, meaning Chrome will show!! Professional wrappers will charge $100 plus ( materials/labor)..but at least it'll last for 4-5 years and not 8 months!! Get what u pay for...

The gloss black looks sweet. It's easy to scratch (and I overstretched a couple parts) but it fit 95% perfectly. There's nowhere to tuck a few corners so there's a tiny bit of overhang. It could be a little larger, but then you'd have to cut which can also look bad, so I can't blame the manufacturer. I'll check back in 6-10 months and add a star if it hasn't peeled or worn off yet.

The reason this is so hard to work with is that it’s just cut exactly to the shape of the chrome with no margin of error whatsoever. Especially for a novice in this craft, you’d be better off with a large piece of black vinyl that you can apply and then cut versus having the already cut piece and trying to match it up perfectly

Perfect! Fit perfectly, covered the chrome perfectly, and it lasts!

It looked great however it scratches super easy. Had it on for a day and you could see a few scratches and oddly enough water spots seemed to almost stain it...

This is one of the worst purchases I have ever made. It’s trash, complete and utter trash. From the second I got it I knew it wasn’t going to work. Firstly the adhesive was not strong AT ALL. Secondly, the cuts are we’re not proportionate. I’d rather eat from the floor for a month than buy from this buyer ever again.

doesn’t fit car at all even trying to salvage and cover what wasn’t covered i still couldn’t delete all chrome.
