Not lined, they do have tiny holes for ventilation and the fabric is a bit thin so it does allow a little see thru.

Do these shorts have pockets?

Cody, yes they have pockets. Actually very deep pockets. I usually have a small mp3 player in my pocket when I run. Pockets on both sides and can easily hold a smart phone as well. For me, the phone would feel a little heavy when running but if just out and about, i phone, keys, etc. no problem to accommodate.

Will I be able to fit my pet squirrel in the pocket?
