Great Bird Feeder for the Money about 1 Days Worth of Feed it can Hold
When a cheap and plastic bird feeder is better and last longer than a expensive metal bird feeder at Menards then something is wrong with these big retailers. Small and light weight at max capacity will last about a day for a busy bird feeder, of course the birds will always make a mess no matter what. Quality is very good and lasted through multiple rain storms and wind storms. Birds love it and will be buying more when spring and summer come around next year.

Nice Feeder
This bird feeder is nice and has a very ease of use to it. Its not a very big feeder, as I thought it would be bigger but other than that this is a solid product. Quality is good as well.

Excellent Feeder & Easy To Use
This is an excellent bird feeder but I wish it came in a larger size. It's easy to open and close the lid for filling and the birds seem to love it. I'm having to fill it much more often and not finding seed on the ground. The feeder is great but I only gave it 4 stars due to the size.

Expandable Bird Feeder: Easy, Spacious, and a Bird Magnet!
I recently purchased the expandable Bird Feeder, and it’s quickly become a favorite addition to my garden! This feeder is thoughtfully designed with features that make it both practical and a joy to use, attracting a delightful array of wild birds to my backyard. The standout feature is its expandable design, which allows it to hold a generous amount of seeds—perfect for keeping my feathered visitors well-fed without constant refilling. I’ve filled it with mixed seeds, and it’s been a hit with finches, sparrows, and even the occasional cardinal! The ability to expand the capacity means I can go longer between refills, which is a huge time-saver, especially during busy weeks. The unique latch feature is an absolute game-changer. It makes filling and cleaning so effortless—popping open the latch takes seconds, and the wide opening ensures no spills or mess when adding seeds. Cleaning is just as easy; I can quickly rinse it out and have it back in action without any hassle. The latch secures tightly, keeping squirrels and other critters at bay, which has been a persistent issue with other feeders I’ve tried. Hanging this feeder was a breeze, thanks to the sturdy hook. I’ve placed it under the eaves of my patio, and it looks fantastic while staying protected from the elements. The sleek, durable design blends beautifully with my outdoor decor, and the weather-resistant material has held up perfectly through rain and sun, showing no signs of wear after weeks of use. This feeder has brought so much life to my garden, with birds flocking to it daily. Watching them from my window has become a highlight of my mornings! For the price, the quality, capacity, and user-friendly features make this an unbeatable choice. I highly recommend this expandable Bird Feeder to anyone looking to attract more birds and simplify their bird-feeding routine.

This feeder is SMALL!
Let me start by saying this is the first time that I have ever purchased a bird feeder. Not knowing if we would get any birds using it I didn’t want to spend a lot of money on one in case there is no interest in it from the birds in our neighborhood. Having said that, this feeder is SMALL. The hopper is 7” tall from the bottom to the top edge. The hexagon base is about 8” point to point. The pictures in the ad made it look bigger. They do not provide any dimensions and now having the feeder, the birds pictured in the ad are not to the same scale as the feeder. The birds in their photos should be at least 25% bigger to be on the same scale as the feeder. The perches are only 1/2” away from the outer edge of the tray and only 1.5” away from the hopper. I’m concerned that it’s too close for birds to be able to perch and eat. One thing that is truly well done is the hinged roof and bracing for the hopper. The hinge with a tether is a very good idea but the bracing for the hopper is very well engineered and solid. I will also give props to the design of the expanding hopper. It cones collapsed for shipping purposes but the top half easily lifts up and it snaps into place very well. That is the entirety of the assembly required. My summarized opinion is it is a quality bird feeder but just small. If they made one about 50% bigger in all dimensions I would definitely buy it based on the quality of the feeder and the construction(providing the area birds showed interest of course).

Attractive pricing, solid construction, light weight, good seed capacity, and the birds love it!
This bird feeder has been a delight. It's price is very reasonable and it holds a lot more food than I expected by looking at the photo. The birds flock to it and manage to get a fair number birds on the feeder at the same time. I was concerned that it was not going to provide adequate squirrel protection. I feared it would be easy pickings for the squirrels, and in fact the first day we had it, a squirrel did climb up on top of it and tried to shake the bird seed free. I didn't watch 100% of the time, but the fact that he hasn't returned leads me to believe he wasn't very successful. The feeder is made out of a light weight but strong plastic, and you fill it by pressing down on one portion of the lid and it "pops" open. Lift the lid (on a hinge), pour in your bird seed, and then push the lid down again to lock/snug it in place (similar to how many kitchen cabinets are secured in a locked/closed position). It is very simple and the opening for pouring in bird seed is nearly 100% of the top of the feeder, so you don't have to worry about lots of spillage if you show just the slightest bit of care in what you are doing. With respect to functionality, the birds LOVE this bird feeder. It didn't take them long to find it, and once we filled it the birds were/are feeding nearly all day long. I refill it roughly every other day as I don't want to over feed them. Were I to fill it every day they would eat at least half of the bird seed (or maybe all of it) in one day. If there is anything that you could consider a "con" to this bird feeder is that it is difficult for larger birds to use it. Our previous bird feeder was larger and we did see larger birds more often. I have seen one or two determined larger birds make the effort to feed from it. It can be one, but expect A LOT of smaller and medium sized birds to belly up to the trough. This bird feeder gets my highest recommendation. It is light weight, has good capacity both in the amount of food it can hold and the amount of simultaneous birds it can feed, appears to be built very solidly. We've only had it for about two weeks, but so far it has worked out great. And again, the birds love it! I think it will last a good long time, but even if it doesn't the price is so attractive that replacing it wouldn't be a big deal.
