Brilliant Sound
I've been playing cello for about 8 years and would consider myself an advanced player. As a broke college student I cannot afford the 500$ for a professional set of strings. But I've been playing on the Aurora strings for about a month and the sound is impeccable. The strings are definitely Larson quality without breaking the bank. Will definitely be purchasing again. The best set of strings in this price range for sure!

Great strings
For some reason the first package of strings I received, the C string was broken, but it was easy enough to send that back and get a new set. They've been great for my cello.

Great all around strings, nice balance of power and tone.
Not too bright but not subdued either. Nice balance of tone and volume on my baroque style cello. Quick response and hold tuning well.

A string very flimsy and broke
All of the other strings are working well- however 2 weeks after installing them they broke in my first orchestra rehearsal. Invest in a separate or backup a string

Tengo varios años aprendiendo cello sentia que no avanzaba estava muy lento. Era porque siempre use cuerdas para principiate incluso las prelude adario estan duras esta dificil tocar. Pero suena decente pero metalicas las prelude. En cambio estas larsen aurora suenan calidad larsen el primer dia que las puse senti que avance 3 años ya que puedo tocar rapido sin sentir duras las cuerdas especialmente la cuerda de la. Se toca muy bien sin sentirse duras y por fin escucho unas cuerdas que no suenan metalicas. siento que me compre un cello nuevo :) ya que tengo un cello barato chino y suena muy bien, ahora.
