Can this pot be used to bring water to a boil without burning the insides or handle?

Yes. I boil water often in this pan by using medium heat and with the lid on. The water will come to a boil without causing the insides or handle to burn. I never use high heat with this pan.

Does this take a long time to heat up on low heat?

Because you only use medium to low heat with these pans, it takes a little longer. I love the pan, so worth the wait.

Is it compatible with induction stovetop?

I read the Greenpan instructions on the Amazon site for this pan before I bought it to make sure I could use it for my purposes. This is what it says about cooktops: "Safe for all stovetops except induction". It's important to read all the details provided.

Does not work on induction hob

It does not work with high end Miele induction hob. Description and on the bottom of the pan induction is marked as suitable but it is not.

Compré porque conozco el producto y es excelente; lamentablemente tuve que devolverlo, porque los 3 sartenes tienen una abolladura en el mismo sitio y la caja de empaque esta rota y cubierta por cinta adhesiva de DHL. posiblemente por un golpe que lastimó los sartenes. Sería muy bueno que amazon permitiera la sustitucion del producto, por daño o imperfección.
