Would this work with samsung tab A 2018

Hello I really don't know because my Tab in a 2021 And bo far it works perfectly. I have purchased 2 pens and they are just great.

Is it as good as the original? Are you able to select the floating icon and use the button to erase?

I tested most of the functions I used with the pen. This was not one I had tested, but, yes, it did erase while I pushed the button. I only tested it in the Notes app. I am not sure about how it might work in a text/word processing app.
