My husband says it works really well and is super easy, I wouldn't know as he is the one who sharpens the knives but they are definitely sharper every time he uses this.

Short enough for easily maneuvering knives, but long enough for getting a sharp honed edge
I like the box, nice to store between uses. The cloth to wipe it down. The quality, weight and handle are top notch in my opinion.
