Good Bit Set
Busts through 26gauge galvanizes sheet steel super well. I oiled to try and keep from burning them up but they full on eat through. Punched 44 holes in no time flat.

The harder you press the better it cuts
I didn’t expect such a great product for the money. If you are using a cordless drill drilling through 1/4” angle it works best on low rpms with as much pressure as you can. Some people might complain but the fact is they are not applying enough pressure/force

Nice but not sure how long they will last
I have used these bits a few times now and they BITE! I have had no issues so far with them cutting. They are sharp and accurate. I used these to cut out slam locks in aluminum. I have not noticed any teeth breaking off during my use so far. It cuts through metal like butter. I recommend this product for those looking for a good metal hole saw. Update: Upon using the 1-1/8 hole saw for the first time, the shaft shattered within a few seconds of drilling into 1/8 aluminum sheet metal. Luckily, this set comes with two extra shafts so I was able to replace the shaft and finish drilling the hole. This was a little disappointing as I had no issues when using the 2" hole saw. Time will tell on how long these will last.

Trooper, but only for mild steel with no welds - or - how I destroyed the bit, but still 5 stars.
I think these would be fine for mild steel, especially if used in a drill press. I was able to cut a 2" hole in an old piece of equipment. The part I cut out had been welded before. The welds are, of course, variable hardness. When the teeth impacted the welds some teeth -- then most teeth broke off. It was a trooper though, the two last remaining teeth finally made it through all the way. Given the low cost, and difficult task, I think it performed well even if it destroyed itself in the doing. Caveats: 1) I used a handheld drill and when the teeth caught, it whipped around and twisted (ask my wrists!). This violent action may have broken teeth off. If you use a drill press you may see better results. 2) I was cutting through old welds -- which were rough until it got started, and can be very hard in places. This was not an easy cut I asked it to do. 3) Since I was drilling out an old pin hole (see photo) I used a wooden plug pounded into the old hole so the center drill bit could have something to center the hole saw. If I had used a steel plug, the center drill drilling through the steel would have slowed down the feed rate and may have protected the teeth.

Very happy.with results
Just used the 1 3/8" hole saw to cut through 2, 3/8" thick steel plates using my mill/drill at about 150 rpm and oil. Cleared chips quite often and i got nice clean holes very quickly. Best quick results i have ever had.

Very well made, high quality and perfect price point
I ordered this set because I needed to drill a few holes in a stainless steel sink. I don’t usually work with this type of bit, but it’s the kind of tool that’s always good to have around—especially if you do any kind of construction or metal work. When it arrived, I was genuinely impressed. The whole set looked solid and well-made, and the drills felt like good quality, not flimsy or cheap. In the end, I didn’t end up using it because another contractor on-site ended up handling the job before I got to it. So with a bit of reluctance, I returned it—mainly because I couldn’t justify keeping something I might not use at all anytime soon. But honestly, if I had needed it, I have no doubt it would’ve done the job well. For someone who uses this kind of bit more regularly, it looked like a great, well-rounded set worth keeping in the toolbox especially for this price! One brand name drill can go for this price, and here you get a whole set of 12 pcs!

High quality bit's. Be safe.
These bits are very sharp and good quality I bought a mag base drill to use for these bits. I had a few small bits, and it is not good to try to use bits on metal with a regular drill. I tried that months back and you cannot hold it steady and straight. Or at least I could not hold it straight after just a little bit into the metal. It twisted and grab a good bite and broke the bit. Thank goodness I have learned a valuable lesson. I usually have to pay for my lessons leaned. I really wish they would put there rpm list of different materials to drill. It really makes things a lot safer and major difference when cutting carbon verses stainless . That’s all I got to say about that

Shockingly, they work very well!
I don't write many reviews and consider most of them fake, but I was pleasantly surprised by these drill bits! I don't know if they last long term because I only needed to drill three holes through stainless steel, maybe 1/8" thick or a little thicker. They worked better than expected! I used a cordless Milwaukee Drill and it felt like drilling through wood. I was honestly shocked and how well it worked. I was drilling for a 3/4" Rigid Coupling and had to eyeball the sizes. They may be metric, since the first seemed a little too big, and the other a little too small, but it worked. I love them! I want to drill more holes just because I can. I do hire out for work, but it would be cheaper for you to buy the bits and do it yourself.
