Came in generic umbrella packaging... the pole was just a tapered pointed end, no screw pitch. No logo on the product whatsoever... fake imitation.

I’ve used this three times at the beach on windy days. I use the wind to open the umbrella then turn it around to place its back against the wind. I’ve never once experienced it blowing away or blowing backwards. The screw thingy is easy to use too because you don’t have to turn the whole umbrella to secure it. It’s a separate apparatus so you place the umbrella where you want it and turn the screw part to keep it in place. I make sure to screw it as far as it will go an I have had no problems with stability. I never even stake the bottom. I actually fill the inner pockets with sand and that’s enough to keep them from flapping. It makes beach days so comfortable now. Fits two beach chairs comfortably with enough room for a cooler between them to sit your drinks on. Also 420 friendly. Close the screens and roll up and smoke in peace.

I bought this umbrella back in August 2020, and it’s still going strong in July 2025. Just wrapped another beach weekend with it—flawless, as usual. We bring it every single time. It’s been everywhere, used hundreds of times, and it’s held up like a champ. I added one of those umbrella hooks from Amazon that slides on the pole—great for hanging towels and gear. Setup? Stupid simple. Pull it out, twist the base into the sand, pop the top on. Just pay attention to the wind unless you want to reenact Mary Poppins across the shoreline. I switch between upright mode and what I call “tent mode” for windy days. Just tilt it, fill the sand pockets, and boom—rock solid. It shrugs off gusts like it’s no big deal. Yeah, the zipper windows corroded shut years ago—but I never used them anyway. A few threads around the support arms are loosening, but after six years of beach weekends, that’s a badge of honor. Still works perfectly.

Compramos la sportsbrella para nuestros fines de semana en la playa y es lo MÁXIMO !! da una muy buena sombra y cabemos Perfecto para nuestro picnic ! La sombrilla es de muy buena calidad, resiste bien el viento fuerte y las ventanitas que trae ayudan para que no se vuele cuando se pone rudo el viento. Ya no vamos a la Playa sin ella , la AMAMOS ! La puedes usar de varios formas y si tamaño es enorme ideal para familias de 3-5 personas con niños Solo me gustaría que viniera con una funda más resistente pues con el uso se empieza. Rasgar, pero la sombrilla está increíble!

No matter what the weather is when we’re camping, we can put this over our lawn chairs and keep visiting outside. It traps the warmth inside. We will be near the fire, so I expect I will have some small melted holes in it long-term from sparks, but I’m willing to pay this affordable price to stay warm.
