I was unsure of the plaid colors, but had to take a chance as the solids were sold out for holidays. I will say the picture shown does not do this shirt justice. The colors are absolutely beautiful and not too bright. It was soft right out of the box and presentation was nicely done ready to be wrapped. My son has not washed it yet, so I can't comment on that. Based on price, quality and material it definitely deserves five stars.
