This little fan is perfect for our kids' bedroom, both as a quiet background white noise generator and also for air circulation. It has a small footprint and easily fits on top of a dresser. I will note that after a short time, we started getting a persistent rattle that would only go away if we flipped the fan on its side. However, after contacting customer service, they provided a quick response and were happy to replace the faulty fan, leaving us fully satisfied!

This fan is quiet and works great for small spaces. I use it in the kitchen when cooking in the summer since we don't have central AC. It has two power levels. The first is very quiet and gives a nice breeze, while 2 is louder and obviously more forceful. While it's not the most powerful, it gets the job done. I wish that I had any kind of control of the angle that it points, though. Because there is no way to tilt it, the fan works best when it only needs to cool down a specific area, not circulate air around the entire space. A huge issue I have, however, is that you cannot disassemble this fan in order to clean and dust the inside. There are several screws that hold together the two pieces, and one of those screws is a security screw that cannot be removed without a special tool. When any fan gets a lot of use (or no use at all and sits in storage,) dust, dirt, and pet hair accumulate and reduce the efficiency of the fan. It won't blow as forcefully, and of course you're just blowing all of that debris around and breathing it in. You can only use compressed air so many times before you actually need to get in there and deep clean. Since our warranty is up anyway, I just ripped it apart once all of the regular screws were removed. There is only one security screw, and it's being held by flimsy plastic, so it really didn't affect anything. The fan is now clean and working much better, but it's a shame I had to use brute force to do so. This is why I gave 4 stars instead of 5.

I've owned a Duracraft fan like this for many years. Great fan! But can't find another one. This one was the closest in size and had the same style front control dial. I really like this feature on my Duracraft... easy access, easy to turn, don't have to move the fan or reach behind. Not typically a problem, but in some circumstances this is just simpler.... and it makes sense the way these fans are usually designed. This Dr Prepare was the only fan that had this feature that I saw. I'd never heard of this brand but I purchased two... one in this style and a small tower with oscillation & remote. Both have been on high nonstop since received. I've only had them a few weeks, but so far no strange noises, they both move enough air to be felt across the room, and both were reasonably priced. This one cost around $20, the tower with remote around $40. If you've priced many fans, that's inexpensive. Both can be heard....they are fans with blades circulating at high speed afterall, but neither is excessively loud beyond expectation. If this fan stops working or making noises anytime soon, I'll update my review. At this price point, if it runs continually on high for the rest of the summer in this heat, I'll be happy. I would recommend this product.

Great fan for an affordable price.

The fan itself is great. Good airflow, good sound (not too quiet, not too loud, just enough white noise to be soothing), but I did not realize that it does not have a tilt feature. Once it sits on the counter, you can turn it left or right (obviously), but the fan does not tilt up or down to direct airflow in a specific direction. It is one static piece, so you have to be sure the fan is placed at a certain height to get the airflow directed where you want it to go. I wanted to place it on a high shelf and tilt the blades to direct the airflow down, but with no tilt feature, the airflow is blowing over my head and not down to where the airflow is needed. Propping something under the legs to the whole fan is tilted in the direction the airflow is needed will make the fan unstable. Be sure to know where you will want to place the fan to ensure the airflow will be where you want it to be.

This is an excellent Desk fan! I use it for Air circulation in my kitchen and it helps a LOT! I don’t need to run my air conditioning nearly as much to stay comfortable. This fan has a Powerful Motor for its size. I like this fan because it is small and does not take a lot of space on my counter. My favorite feature about this fan is that it is QUIET. Has two speeds (quiet and very quiet). It is not designed for cooling an entire room, but when I am sitting at a desk, or working at the kitchen counter, it definitely makes a big difference on a hot day! It is very well made, looks nice, and seems like it will last a long time. I will be ordering more of these!

Quality little fan and moves air well. It is also quiet to use. Very odd place for the power switch but it works. It's the center of the fan kind of like a nose. Hi/Lo and off. Decent electrical cord length too. Durability? No idea, not had it long enough to evaluate this.
