ATPEAM 15pcs Spanner Wrench Set with Variable Pins Pulley Holder Tool

This spanner wrench set was exactly what I needed to repair a hydraulic cylinder on my excavator. The variable pin design meant I had the right fit without having to hunt down a specialty tool. The set includes enough size options to cover the lock rings and retaining nuts on the cylinder — everything came apart cleanly without slipping or damaging anything. Solid construction and well worth it for anyone doing heavy equipment repairs. Highly recommend.

Got this spanner to work on my pedal drive for my kayak. Worked fit great due to the multiple pins. The handle is long so to get good functional leverage. Steel construction, so it's nice and strong. So worth the money

Just what I needed. I used this to hold a pulley on a lawn mower deck while I torqued the blade nut down, the variable arm was perfect. The wrench comes in a nice case too which keeps it all together.

Tool preformed the job as it should. The only issue or comment I can make against the tool is the knurled spline that holds the two handles together. First use mine got pulled almost out trying to tighten the spanner together at the correct gap. If there was only a small flange built into the knurled connector (let's call it the hinge). You can or I did tighten it by hand where the hinge was pulling out of the tool. Easily remedied by adding a tiny flange to the back side of the knurled center connector (hinge). I have a small machine shop and the ability to make one or you could weld a washer on the back side. If that was done I don't think there would even be a need for the knurl other than maybe on the face of the flange like a lock nut. Tool did tighten, but not as tight as I was trying to get it. It did work and saved me loads of time if I wouldn't have bought it. I would buy again, but I wanted the Seller and potential new buyers to be aware. Most people doing their own repairs has or knows someone with a welder of needed, but it will do the job without the added flange. Hopefully there will be a modification in the future.

The spanner wrench box was about the best thing in regards to the tool. We set the wrench up to remove a gland nut. Without using any added tool leverage we bent the handle of the tool within the first few seconds of trying to use it. I would not even recommend this tool for a paper weight. It made it to the metal pile where it will stay. It was a recommended tool but they must have been removing paper from a cardboard tube.

Great set, well made very useful

The metal is far too soft. The secondary arm separated almost immediately. The knurled pin is press fit in, but the hole may be a couple mils too large and the metal is too soft, so it deforms easily, allowing the pin to work its way out in transit. The entire thing bent and warped, I couldn’t loosen the bolt (thankfully, I wouldn’t have been able to reassemble my engine properly if I had gotten the pulley bolt loose. There is no way I would have been able to properly retorque the new bolt. Those items will not get replaced preventatively while the rest of the engine is apart.

Less than quality metal. Very soft for my needs. Useless.

I bought this kit for opening hydraulic cylinder caps on cylinders from my personal equipment around the farm. This set works perfectly. I was able to crack into some pretty tight ones, no problems.
