MIKO Shiatsu Foot Massager with Heat for Neuropathy & Plantar Fasciitis

Purchased after returning a less expensive foot massager and am really happy with this one. Use it almost daily to help relieve foot pain. Massager has different settings, including heat. The whole family loves it. MIKO even sent me free foot cover replacements after I registered the product. This massager meets my needs and I’m happy with both the quality and performance.

It so important for me to find a good foot massager while SIP. And I am pretty picky. So I ordered a leading brand but shamefully returned - it was more of a pressure machine, not a massager. I decided to try MIKO. Below are my experiences and comments: -The best: this is very important – very sufficient massage and pressure to the forefoot and toe part. This is one of the best parts of Miko product. I had to struggle to feel the rolling rods with the other product. Miko did a great job on mimicking real hands. I am a lover of foot massage who goes to massage parlor often. I can’t’ get that anymore with the COVID19. But thanks to Miko, it is a great replacement of my massage parlor! - The best: this is important – it comes with (meaningful) different intensities of pressure. I say meaningful, it is that each gear really provides different pressure for different preferences. When less pressure is applied, you have ample room in the compartment to move your feet around and to get massage on different parts of your feet. When P5 gear is selected, you feel the pain, that’s what I like the most. But you can choose your “pain” level, from gentle love to tough love. - The best: this is somewhat important to those who are like me - it comes with two remote controls. I appreciate it a lot since I ALWAYS lose stuff around my house - btw, I already lost one on the 3rd week of owning this little creature. And thank god, I have the 2nd remote control. I am not going to lose it because it is really useful. See below. - The best: this is extremely important – this unit comes with or without remote control. GET THE ONE with remote control. Save your money on your Starbucks! When you are writing a long report by your study desk, or watching your favorite show in front of the TV, you DO NOT want to bend your back and reach to your feet to turn the power back on (see the “bad” below) or change the intensity of the pressure or the heat option. You want your little friend to do the job for you without having to leave your screen for more than 1 second. - The best: this is important - it looks really nice and modern. Believe me, you want something nice sitting in front of your sofa when you are watching your TV or reading a book while treading your feet nicely. People are going to see it all the time and you don’t want an ugly black box against your beautiful sofa in the main part of your house. - the good: you can hear the sound of this creature when it is hard at work. If you are really bothered by any sound, you can’t have a massager that works for you. Even if you go to a massage parlor, you sometimes can’t really shut off the lady who is working hard for you on your feet. So, for me, the sound is not distracting at all when work on my desk or watch tv etc etc. Knowing that some“one” is working for you while you are relaxing is actually nice. My family who sits next to me never complained about the noise either. - The OK: the heels of the feet don't get a lot of pressure or massage for someone like me who prefers pain over gentle touch. I have to press my heels down to get the pain effect. But if you like gentle touch for your heels, this is perfect for you. So this is an OK for me. - The bad: it only has a 15 min setting. I would prefer a half an hour setting or 2 hour setting. It's a bit annoying that I have to constantly turn the machine back on just to do another 15 mins. So, this is the worst part of the machine. It works hard for you, but you need to tell it: “hey buddy, good job, another 15 mins please”. I love this massager so much that I run it for hours per day, so go ahead to count the times I have to press the remote control to restart! I have written an email to Miko about this and asked them to improve (see below: the amazing) - The AMAZING: this really made me feel good (not just on my feet) - They responded me immediately when I made suggestions on their 15 mins limit and the pain effect on my heels. I was a bit skeptical about their business mission, like “We created Miko just for you, because…”. blablabla…just another “give me your money” tactic. BUT, throughout my conversations with them, I started to believe what they have said on Amazon is all true and I am convinced that they really care about their products and their customers. Overall, I am 99% happy about this product. My feet are 100% happy.

I feel like this device pretty much does what it says on the box - albeit a few discrepancies but I think that maybe partly due to anatomy. To be clear, the overall experience is tremendous. From a company perspective, the minute I received the device, I had emails in my inbox reaching out to ensure I didn't have any issues or questions. The device was packaged well and arrived in perfect shape. Quality is fine. Instructions are easy to follow and learning how to use it is really straightforward. The remote is meh... you have to literally hold it above the device for it to work correctly but that's ok. Unless you're 7 feet tall, that should not be an issue :). Here's where my experience starts to drift a bit... I have pretty thick feet. From the arch to the top of the highest part of my foot is about 4 inches. I also have flat feet. I wear a size 11 US so average length. I have a REAL hard time getting my feet all the way into the openings. I have to set the machine up against something so I can keep pushing my feet into the openings while it's running or they get "massaged" out. I'm currently dealing with an annoying case of Plantar Fasciitis and while the machine does a good job working the arch, it does not even touch the outsides/sides of my feet which is really where a lot of my pain is. I have to try and roll my foot inside the opening so the nodules in the machine work the edge of my foot. I understand the mechanics around making something like that work would be incredibly challenging but it's important for people to know that the actual massaging action only addresses the underside of your foot and nothing else. The pressure will squeeze your whole foot but to me that really only intensifies the massaging function. The other issue is because my feet are so thick and I have a hard time getting them into the openings, the massage function does not touch the heel of my foot. That's another really important and painful part of dealing with PF and I can't get any relief there. Overall, this is a really good machine. If you have "normal" feet (lol), then I think it will do fine. The smaller your feet are, the more effective it will be for you. If I did it again, I would probably spend more time researching massagers that specifically addressed big feet.

This foot massager has been a great purchase. It feels relaxing after being on my feet, and I really like the deep kneading, air compression, and heat feature. It gives a nice amount of pressure and helps my feet feel better after a long day. It is easy to use, and I like that it has different settings so I can adjust it to what feels best. The heat adds a comfortable touch, especially when my feet are tired or sore. I’m very pleased with this massager and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a good foot massager for home use.

This massager is excellent compared to others we've tried. The size of the unit is perfect, the machine feels like hands/knuckles are massaging your feet, you can adjust the strength of the massage, you can remove the liner inside to wash it and re-attach which is really nice, and the heat feature works well. I wish the unit massaged my heels better as this is an area of concern for me, but this is still the best unit of all that we have tried. In addition, when I registered the unit warranty, I received an email from the maker offering a free backup liner as a courtesy which was excellent customer service. Great product and great service.

My friend's sister had this massager, which prompted my friend to buy it for her family and to encourage me to do the same. It was so easy to figure out how to use and I've barely stopped using it since I bought it. I have plantar fasciitis and the heel roller is perfect. I also have bunions and the rollers on the balls and tops of your feet are amazing. And the heat is perfect. I love that you can change the settings using the remote without having to bend over the machine and that the remote sticks to the machine with a magnet so it doesn't get lost. The power goes up to five but I haven't had a need to go further than level three. This was totally worth the money spent!

I wanted to wait a day or so before I wrote up my review so I could actually try it out. After weeks of looking at different models, I finally decided to go with MIKO. After a long day and tired feet I sat on my couch to see what would happen. The deep kneading is powerful and actually targets my heels and arches. My main concern was massaging the entire foot, which this machine really covers. I love that I can adjust the rollers and the air compression pressure to my liking. It was so relaxing I started to fall asleep. It’s definitely a high-quality machine that feels like a professional shiatsu massage at home.

I'd suggest using it on carpet, it slides on any other kind of floor. It focuses on the ball and arch, doesn't seem to really even touch the heel. Definitely not worth the money

Das Miko Shiatsu Fußmassagegerät hat meine Erwartungen voll erfüllt. Da es am Hacken offen ist, beengt es den Fuß auch bei großen Füßen nicht. Die Massage ist im vorderen und mittleren Teil des Fußes ist intensiv und belebend, im Bereich des Hackens weniger, was ich auch nicht vermisse. Die Verarbeitung des Gerätes macht einen soliden Eindruck, da ich das Gerät aber erst kurze Zeit besitze, kann ich zur Haltbarkeit keine Aussage machen

Possibilità di scegliere tra massaggio, compressione oppure combinazione delle due funzioni. I 5 livelli di intensità consentono ad ognuno di trovare la combo perfetta per un massaggio rigenerante. Inoltre, si ha la possibilità di attivare il calore per scaldare i piedi durante il massaggio. Macchinario solido e di dimensioni non eccessivamente grandi, anche il suo peso è contenuto. Impeccabile anche il servizio clienti, al quale ho scritto per l'attivazione della garanzia, che mi ha inviato in omaggio un paio di inserti di ricambio da poter sostituire a quelli in dotazione. Consigliato!

It has a nice grep. I just wish that the heat can be increased and the massage is softener.
