Best gaming mouse
I had originally bought a different brand mouse thinking it was gonna be good for gaming. I really tried to use it and overlook its flaws. I finally got fed up with it and found this one instead. I have yet to find a flaw. The fact that you can customize the functionality is great. It is super lightweight and responsive to my input. I feel like my gameplay has improved since I got it.

Awesome upgrade from rival 300s
I'm always liked the original rival, and bought rival 300 and 300s when they came out. The prime wireless was a bit smaller than them but I grip perfectly onto it and thanks to its 30-gram-ish weight reduction from the 300s, I find it effortless to make a smooth transition. Battery life seems okay so far. The only problems I had was that the initial firmware update notice in GG was ambiguous and confusing, took me a while to fumble out the update. Then sometimes it double clicks. Not sure how the actuator physically double clicks since it's based on lazer? Double clicking happened teice in my last 10 hours of gaming yesterday. Would wanna see if this was a manufacturing fault. Would recommend this mice to all my friends. Awesome ergonomics for big hands!

Kinda sorta close to a wireless EC-2 with amazing feeling optical switches
Pros: - Good sensor, feels accurate and responsive - INCREDIBLE feeling optical switches for 1 and 2! - USB Type-C charging port - Good battery life - Includes wireless adapter for the charging cable/dongle - Pretty good stock feet (with tiger ices already available) - Shape feels like a slightly less refined EC-2, but still alright - Coating is good, but I wish it were a a little smoother (I think it would get more grip that way) - Really solid feeling construction Cons: - Side buttons are tiny - Scroll wheel is kind of hard to press consistently (but still scrolls well) - Weight should go down at least 10g, I feel like ~70g would feel fantastic with this mouse Thoughts: Have you ever really wanted to use a product because of a single really, really good feature it has? For me, it's the optical switches on this mouse. No joke, these new optical switches feel so phenomenal, that I'm willing to put up with my gripes just to feel the clicks. Looking at their design on steelseries' website, they look like they should maintain their click feel forever, but only time will tell on that. If you don't know how they work, basically you press down on the button to actuate a spring that's held in place by a neodymium magnet that snaps down and breaks the laser beam to register a click. They do really feel light, but snappy. The shape is very reminiscent of a Zowie EC-2, with the main difference being that the curves aren't quite as defined. It's not awful, but I think that those curves would have made a little bit of a better shape. The coating for the body is okay, but I think it would have been more grippy if it were a little more fine. I always feel a little worried that the mouse is going to slip out of my hand. It sort of has a dry feeling to it if that makes any sense. The surface is vastly better than their rubberized sides in my opinion. The side buttons are teeny tiny for no reason. They really should be at least twice the size and stick out a little more. I feel like I'm going out of my way to hit them compared to other mice. The scroll wheel also feels a little hard to consistently press, but I think it's something that could be gotten used to. I think that with the combination of the slightly off EC-2 shape, dry feeling surface, and 80g weight, it can feel heavier than it is sometimes. I really think this mouse could have benefited greatly from being a little lighter. I imagine the wired versions feel pretty good, but I just love not slapping around a cable. Conclusion: Steelseries is finally moving in the right direction with their mice. They've always boasted about really gimmicky stuff as being some new revolutionary thing they've invented, but this time they're on to something with their OM switches. If these can feel as good from click 1 to click 100 million as they claim, then the design absolutely needs to be copied by other brands. As they feel right now, I actually prefer these optical switches to any mechanical switch I've tried. If this changes, I'll be sure to note approximately when they started to fade and under how much use. I don't think I'd say that this can 100% be the wireless EC-2 you're looking for, but it is a solid wireless ergo entry into the market.

Best clicks, most solid form fitting palm mouse
I'm old school back to the Zowie days. Used Glorious D, Xlite v3, many other similar, including Logitech's palm mouse. While this one isn't shaped as nicely as I'd like, I like the buttons the best. REALLY solid click. No flimsiness anywhere. Just feels super solid. After a while all my mice start to feel flimsy, loose. Don't click quite the same, like a little wiggle or travel going on. NOT this mouse though. So here's a tip. If you don't like the shape of your mouse, but you like everything else, to a point you can form fit it by adding grip tape to it. I added some around the narrowing sides and now it palms perfectly. Still plenty light enough. I keep going to this one instead of the Xlite.

Best ergo I've ever had~
I never would've thought that this was going to be the best mouse I've ever owned. The feeling of the new switches are very satisfying, and I'm also blown away by the amazing ergo shape. Nicely done SS! Had the Aerox 3 before this, with replaced skates. Went with Corepadz. It was good, but this one is a step above the lightweight hype because of my liking. It's still 80g, which is still lightweight imo, but the best balance on my preference. More than recommended. No creaking, no rattling, no interference. If you're looking for the best ergo on the market, look nowhere else.

MAJOR connection issues
so far two days have gone by since I got it to replace my logitech MX Master 3. Within a day I uncovered an issue. Anytime my computer goes to sleep the mouse disconnects, and will not reconnect no matter what I do. the only remedy I can find is a full restart of my computer which is a MAJOR pain the behind to say the least, especially when I need to get work done. Might be an isolated issue to just me but super frustrating to say the least. my search for a mouse that isn't logitech continues. Update: Tried to get SteelSeries support to help me with the issue and all I got from them was a copy-pasted paragraph from their FAQ telling me how to reset the pairing of the mouse. which I already knew, already tried, and had said in the original email that it just made the mouse completely unresponsive. I knew it was copy-pasted because it even had the same faulty location of the CPI button. (FAQ and email both say it's below the scroll wheel, it's not its on the bottom of the mouse). Sent a response explaining as much and have yet to hear back from them now two days later at the time of writing this. Don't buy this mouse, maybe their other products are great but this mouse, and the engine software are garbage. And support is utterly unhelpful and will blow you off. Adjusting review down to 1 star. Buy something else.

Almost Great
I got this because I wanted something lighter than the ROG Chakram and I'm still in love with the shape of the Rival 310. These will be my main points of comparison. Pros - Shape is pretty good. Not quite as good as the Rival 310 but it's close enough compared to most mice on the market - It's decently light Cons - Batteries die way too fast, it seems it only lasts half as long as the Chakram (my guess is like 4 days of constant daily use working from home). Sure it's a good deal lighter but the Chakram also has wireless charging and probably just heavier construction. - USB port on the front of the mouse seems to not hold a connection very well. The included USB cable doesn't slot into the cutout precisely so it seems it could wear out easily. - The new Steelseries GG software is absolutely awful. I really really don't care about this home screen, the useless "moments" feature (I'll just use Shadowplay or the Xbox Game Bar) or any of the other junk that was shoved in. Just give me the classic Steelseries Engine (not that it was particularly great either). - Thumb buttons too small. I supposed they're not super small, and they feel a lot better to click than the Chakram's which could be pretty mushy, but I really liked the wide flat buttons on the Rival 310. - Scroll wheel feels inconsistent. Maybe vague but how the scroll wheel feels can vary depending on speed of scrolling and whether it's up or down. My Chakram also had scroll wheel issues so it wasn't really better in that regard. Other Notes - DPI button on the bottom. I never change my DPI but if you do you might want to be aware of this. Chakram was the same way. - Subdued RGB. Only the scroll wheel has some accent lights. I kind of wish the Steelseries logo lit up too but not really a big deal. Overall it's ok, definitely don't pay MSRP ($130) for it. Yeah I listed more cons than pros but that's just me nitpicking. Like I said, it's almost great.

Fits like a glove
minimalistic looking mouse. at first glance it doesn't look like much. but the more I see it, the more it grows on me. completely opposite of how it feels... when I placed my right hand (yes, this is a mouse only for right-handers) on it for the first time, it feels like my hand was made to hold this mouse. my right hand is the glove which fit the prime wireless perfectly! Performance wise, it's steelseries, you can rest assured of the awesome performance. It is the feel of the mouse which is very very subjective. I did not experience what some users were saying about having the butt of the mouse bite the skin of my palm but maybe it's because my palm isn't as big as theirs? Or maybe i'm not that flabby yet? who knows... for me, always buy Steelseries. the Rival 650 was a little too big for my palm so that was a mistake. but the Prime wireless fits my style very well - borderline claw and palm grip. I would advise everyone to take some basic measurements of the your current mouse so you have an idea of whether this mouse suits you or not.

Fits like a glove
I may have almost found my endgame. This mouse fits perfectly in my large hands (21 x 10.5) with a claw/palm hybrid grip. My only grip with this mouse is the battery life could be a bit better, it's not terrible but compared to my Logitech GPX it leaves a little to be desired. But I'll take a small hit on battery life for a much superior shape. Mouse feet are super smooth out of the box, no need to replace them. Try this mouse out, it's one of the few SteelSeries mice to release recently that have caught my attention again after many years of not using SS products ever since the Rival days.
