Aguilar DCB-5J Dual Ceramic J-Bass Pickup Set

I got these in the day of a show and managed to get them installed - despite having to make quick mods (aka a smidge of routing with a wood chisel) and a new toggle switch that required a hole expansion on the plate… my bass sounds like it always did but aooooo much better. Everything I love about my j bass is so much more clear and quiet when it counts! It’s really so much more versatile! I love these pickups!! And not to disrespect any builder but these replaced my Fralins.

Great vintage jazz tone, growl 3rd fret e string like a jazz. Attack was pristine, balanced across all strings, great sound in plucking. No hum, a true joy.

Great sound that is noise free when soloing either pick up. Fits perfectly in fender route without modification

I like it very much. The pick up just work perfectly on my 2000 fender mim. Sound is awesome.

I just installed these in a custom 5 string jazz bass I was building. They have a great vintage tone.

I am absolutely floored by this pickup set. They have been installed in my 5-string Sire V7 in an attempt to eliminate the significant hum that had been present whenever either the stock neck or bridge single-coil pickup was emphasized over the other. The hum is now completely gone and my bass sounds spectacular. I'm very pleased and would do this again in a heartbeat!
