Now we live close enough we have encountered people from ABQ and they said they are ashamed to know us once I told them we did this LMAOOOO

I bought this purely as a costume piece so I can't say how good it is for practical application. My advice for anyone buying it costume or otherwise, just know that it has some weight to it because of the charcoal filters. But I found that opening it up and removing the charcoal filter makes it nice and lightweight for costume use! Just be careful when you pop it open otherwise you will get little charcoal pellets everywhere lol a lot of people complain about these type of masks having a bad smell when they buy them. This had only a slight rubber smell. And the strap did not break at all and lasted 5 hours at a nightclub event. Be warned though that the strap is very tight. Almost too tight for me.

On the positive side: It seals effectively and provides proper isolation. Silicone check-valves provide good positive seals with a simple design that actually works very nicely. Filter canisters provide excellent flow with no noticable restriction and the canisters are easily removed/replaced. ...that's were the positive ends. On the negative side: This mask is actually physically painful to wear for any length of time longer than about 10 minutes. The bridge of my nose is actually bruised from wearing it to go out grocery shopping and the headache that goes with the bruised nose is very unpleasant. The body of the mask appears to be soft poly-vinyl. Whatever solvent they used to make the vinyl soft and flexible has an intense and unpleasant odor. The elastic straps are about 6" too short to allow comfortable adjustment and the strength of the elastic band is much too high. They cause the mask to press painfully tight into my face. There are only two strap attachment points. This forces the straps to have to be too tight for comfort in order to seal properly. A four point system would greatly reduce this problem. Conclusion: This mask is too well made to result in a product this bad. I'm not going to throw it out just yet. I'm pretty sure that a few alterations could make this a really decent mask. Most consumers are not going to want to mess with a product that requires re-engineering to make it what it should have been to begin with but right now we need cheap, effective masks and some might be willing to put a bit of extra effort into making an otherwise well made mask, more comfortable to wear than a medieval torture device. Update will follow.

The band broke in 2 days use. Otherwise it seems the mask works to cut out odors and such. I did not smell anything while taking a number 2.

Absolutely awful, this Has to be the worst thing I’ve ever purchased. Number one the smell is atrocious you can’t even get near this thing let alone put it on I your face ,ended up throwing it in the outside trash after 20 minutes because it smelled so bad there is absolutely no way that you could put this on your face and breathe through it, please do not buy this , it should be outlawed not worth it.

I got these to help out when I use the rust oleum bathtub refinishing epoxy, I have read many reviews that it has a nasty odor and even when wearing a mask, it burns your eyes. These have done an amazing job at helping me "stay alive" during my project. I will also be wearing them when I paint the new house. They definitely help keep chemicals out of your system! It is also pretty comfortable, I'm just not used to wearing the mask so I thought it was kind of hard to breathe but I feel like there are others out there that are harder to breathe while wearing.

Worked perfect for what we needed it for.

the Google and mask works well however the cushion over the mask does not stay on which causes discomfort and an indentation on your face if you wear longer than 20 minutes.
