Watch the orientation of the latch but works first time

I had an old Delta brand toolbox, where the key had got broken off inside the latch. I was able to keep it functioning using the broken key to lock and unlocked for several years, but it eventually got to the point where it would not work. So I ordered this latch to replace it. It comes with the rivets, the keys, and gasket, everything you need. If you do not have a rivet gun, that’s one thing you may have to purchase to complete installing this. I would recommend ordering the Newace rod connector with this latch. Make sure you load the connector from the backside of the latch, the part of the lack that’s closest to the mechanism, not from the storage side of the toolbox. By doing this, it lines up the hole on the connector perfectly with the rod. I’ve added a picture of the connector for context.

Had to replace due to lost key, was cheaper and easier to replace the entire assembly vs just the lock. Perfect fit. Note: you will need to install rivets for a secure installation.
