Remington F6 Aqua Men's Electric Shaver (Cordless, Wet & Dry, 100% Waterproof, Foil Shaver, Pop-up Detail Trimmer, USB Charging, 60-Minute Usage, 90-Minute Charge with 5-Min Quick Charge) F6000

This is my first Remington shaver, having used Braun shavers for nearly 50 years since I started shaving. I switched to Remington because my last two (genuine) Braun shaver-heads fell to pieces. I have been using the Remington F6 for over 4 months now. It looks a fairly basic shaver and is not particularly stylish. I was disappointed that it did not come with a charging stand. Also, no AC mains adaptor was supplied, only a USB charging cable that you have to use with your own adaptor, and the cable does not fit with ease into the socket on the shaver. However, the shaver did come with a carrying bag and a decent cleaning brush. Using the shaver is easy enough, although the On/Off button needs quite a hard press. I have to say that I have never owned a shaver before that has given me such a clean, smooth shave - it is very impressive in this respect. The pop-out trimmer is also effective and a better design than on the Braun shavers I have owned. Note that I have only used this shaver for dry shaving. The shaver charges quickly and the charge seems to last a very long time - I have charged it only a few times since I bought it. However, performance is probably not at its best when the charge is low. Although I have a few minor gripes with this shaver, I have to give it 5 stars for its superb shaving performance and battery life. All being well, I cannot currently envisage going back to Braun after experiencing this Remington.

Used this shaver for a couple of weeks now and I am pleased with the performance. Shaver gives a close shave and is comfortable to hold. Still on original charge, so battery is good. For its price, shaver is excellent value for money.

I have used Remington electric razors for several years buying 2-3 of them. When the battery failed on my last one I looked at their range and saw this USB one which I was attracted to as I have compact USB chargers at home and I can share a charger with other devices when I travel. The razor seems as good as their others, the battery lasts me 4-5 days, it comes with a charging cable with a USB A (rectangular) connector but no charger plug, no foil cover except for a 'stubble styler' which almost gives the same protection. I have had it for 2 weeks now and am quite satisfied particularly as the price on Amazon was very competitive. NB. I am concerned that there does not appear to be any replacement foil/cutters for this model - it may be because it is new; if not this razor is probably a poor investment as on past experience I will need a new foil/cutter in a year (or an entirely new razor). Update: the Remington SPF-F45 replacement head fits this razor but it is quite expensive, about £29.00, but the razor is still working well (Dec 2022). Update: 2yrs on from purchase, will probably replace, have bought 2-3 new foil/cutters over the years but is now not giving a good smooth shave. I suspect the battery does not retain enough charge to power the cutter forcefully and fast enough, certainly after 1 use it does not do a clean shave as it used to. But it wasn't that expensive (Aug 2023).

Disappointed, uneven shave and leaves my face sore, I'll be switching back to rotary.

For an everyday shave, so far this is performing extremely well. The razor is easy to use, quick and the closeness is more than acceptable, although perhaps not ‘parade standard’ Would happily recommend on current experience. Great price currently 👍🏼

My son loved it. Gives a smooth shave

I am very pleased with this shaver. It sits nicely in the hand and is very comfortable to use. I am getting 10 or so close shaves on a charge and this compares well with my last shaver. It is also very easy to clean by rinsing under the tap or using the brush provided. Altogether very good value for money.

40 yıldır jiletle traş oluyorum bu tür traşa hep şüphe ile yaklaşmıştım. Bu nedenle 300-400$ fiyatlı 5-6 bıçaklı makineler yerine giriş seviyesi üstü bu ürünü aldım. Makine genel olarak yüzümde tahrişe yol açmadı. Fakat boyundaki ince kılları almak biraz zor oluyor, bu nedenle boyun kısmında hafif yanma yapabiliyor. Kullandıkça bıçaklarda aşınma sonrası sonuç nasıl olur bilmiyorum.

Vistas el resto de ofertas de máquinas de este tipo y leyendo reseña de todas, al final me decanté por Remington por tamaño, precio y características (lámina en lugar de rotativa). Levaba como 25 años sin eléctrica y me costó al principio, barba dura y cerrada y hay que aprender de nuevo. A base de insistir con cuidado, he conseguido buenos afeitados tanto en seco como con la piel humedecida, mejor esto último ya que no irrita y corre mejor. La máquina es buena, la duración de la batería también y sólo que aún no encuentro repuestos ya que no me gusta estar sin ellos y tener que buscar a última hora si lo necesito.
