Can you put beehive mason jar setup on top of this one?

Yes. Should be pretty easy. Simply construct the jar frame holder with the same outer dimensions of the inner lid with, the appropriate depth to hold the appropriate size mason jar. Langstroth hive dimensions can be found online; as well as a video on constructing a mason jar setup for the boxes. Technically, you should be able to do this with Warre hives as well.

Is this a honey super or a deep box (hive body)?

I received a 10 frame deep box with frames and I waxed foundation. I am very pleased with it. Went together well and is working well. You will need to wax the foundation for the bees to want to draw it out.

What is the foundation made of? Is it plastic?

The foundation I received is a black plastic with a honey comb dimpled appearance. My bees went rite to work building honey comb on it.

Is this everything I need? Does it come with a inner cover and lid?
