It is a little Goofy looking, but the hands free protection from the sun is worth it. It is large enough to go over my head, neck, and shoulders.

Use this for all my kids track meets since im a coach im constantly in the Texas sun. I love the size as it covered my neck and shoulders. Reflects the sun and keeps you cool. Price is worth the product but if there's wind it will not stay in place, even with the strap on tight. It's well made all except for the actual metal parts. They are sharp, when the light winds blew I grabbed the internal metal parts and got cut not once but twice. It fits comfortably on my head and I wear my hair in a bun, I wish the head peice was adjustable so I could keep it on if the wind picks up. This is a must have to free up your hands and keep you shaded, but don't recommend for windy weather.

My wife hates this thing. I’m fine with that. I’ve used it for both sun and rain. My only caveat is to beware of wind.

I was really hoping this hands free umbrella would work for a 500 mi walk I plan on doing next year! I bought it well in advanced, (thank goodness!) to try out before my trip next yr. I liked it for the hot -dry- breezeless- sunny summer days I walked(Only remembered to take it 2x on my walk. The strap will slip down your forehead as you sweat)! HOWEVER!, for the rainy days with just a slight breeze, FORGET IT! Rainy days on my up -coming 500+ mi walk using hiking poles, is what I wanted a hands-free umbrella for! With just a 5-10 mi breeze this cheap thing, would be blown off the back of my head! I tightened the chin strap and was almost choked on the next time it blew off with chin strap around my throat and umbrella hanging down my back! Thank gosh I live in the country, bc if anyone had seen ,they may have driven off the road busting a gut LOL!! Because I missed my return window, I will take it with me on our next warm vaca to use in the pool ,to keep sun and tropical light rain off me. Maybe standing still, I can hold it in place when a light breeze arrives.

The straps work very well! And it's bigger than I imagined. Decorate one with fabric markers if you're artsy.

Bought it for my best friend who caters and has to walk outdoors with food in hands in the mist or rain. She wears a raincoat but can't use an umbrella because she is carrying food. Her glasses get wet and she cannot see so I bought this hoping it would help. She says it looks kinda funny but she loves it. Keeps her glasses dry, her hands free, and even helps protect the pots the food is in. She would recommendd it to anyone that needs free hands in the rain.

The elastic headband is very tight, despite my head size is medium-small for woman! The chin strap is not correctly attached, and it's tangled with the elastic headband and cords on top of the headband, which I'm not able to use it. It will fly off without the chin strap with the wind.

This umbrella hat allowed me to spend 4 hrs in the garden in direct sun. Typically I wouldn't have lasted 10 minutes. The design allows air to swirl under the hat and the temperature is a degree or two cooler around your head and face as a result. Sure, it might look a bit funny but who cares?! We ended up buying two of them.
