Very nice ratchet. Head is very small size; about 3/4 the size of a 1/4 snap-on ratchet head. Very low ratchet friction; less than a snap-on 3/8 ratchet, but more than 1/4 ratchet. Will be very nice in tight places. Made in Japan.

I love these Tone ratchets, they are nice and small with pretty good quality. It does not say Made in Japan on the tool itself, but it does say it on the packaging. This ratchet is essentially the size of a regular 1/4 inch ratchet but with a 3/8 anvil, maybe just a tad longer overall, probably 60% the size of a standard 3/8 ratchet and I like it for quick easy jobs that don't require a ton of torque. The 3/8 drive in such a small form factor is very handy when it is needed. The release button and the direction selector switch both work as they should. The finish quality is nice and feels good in the hand.

Excellent compact 3/8” ratchet. Very low back drag. Very tight machining tolerances and nice satin finish. Push button release is excellent. Highly recommend. This is my go to ratchet.
