Perfect tall guy car camper. Do it. You take too much crap anyway. That’s who you are.
Wow. Took it for a camp out this weekend and I was really happy. Great sky view with rain fly off. Woke up about 4am to very cold temps and the rain fly went on very quickly and easily. This was such a great tent I couldn’t stop saying it aloud. I’m 6’2 and love being able to put on pants standing up. Amazing tent. Lots of room. Very happy.

Great new tent
I love this tent. The wide door opening is nice to fit a queen sized air mattress inside. There is plenty of floor space and head room. The tent is well made with quality material. The floor material extends up the side to make the tent water proof from the ground. I can put this tent up myself but it is easier with 2 people. There is a strong tension on the poles. I was sure to set it up at home before bring it on a trip. I am very happy with this tent and I look forward to may years of use.

Poorly Made but Big?
Its a great size, but poor construction makes it a hard pass. The poles are heavy,, and the elastic was flimsy, two poles broke and the channel ripped the very first time.we set it up. We will repair it and use it for car camping, but I'd never recommend anyone buy it on purpose.

It has no solid all around fabric
The tent itself looks ok, there is no solid all around fabric, the picture presented is misleading as it does not show the side walls of the tent made out of net. The only reason we've bought the tent was for believing that is full fabric all across but is not. The bottom tarp is also a bit flimsy not thick at all. Looks Made in China but not sure.

Great tent for car camping!
Love this tent. Easy solo setup. Love the guy lines (better design than usual, in my opinion). Roomy for rainy camping days. Plus the colors are great.

Not your best work Kelty
I have the 4 person Tallboy and just finished a weekend of camping with it for the first time.Assembly is straightforward. The rain fly has reinforced pockets on the edges to receive the 3rd pole that keeps the edges propped up. The pockets are a snug fit on my fly and the loops (for grabbing and stretching the fly over the pole) ripped right off.The poles are thick fiberglass and add quite a bit of support to the structure at the cost of a lot of extra weight - I suppose that's the trade off here, but I may explore aluminum options if they exist for such a tall tent. The guy lines on the sides of the rain fly are shorter than I'd like, and I feel like I wasn't able to achieve optimal ventilation since there wasn't enough line to really open it up... but that may be a restriction caused by the actual shape of the rain fly, since it doesn't extend far from the tent.I originally intended to give this thing 1 star because the zipper was so terrible, but my wife convinced me that it could have been worse. It could have ripped off, or jammed permanently, but instead it just jammed _every_ _single_ _time_ 😳Things I did like about this tent: it's tall & roomy and has some nice colors, but it stops there.I would not recommend this tent for this price point, unless you're the kind of person that longs for a zipper to be your arch nemesis for an entire camping trip.
