These are the best plates!! They are very durable, great colors, and wash very well (no staining, even the white). I love how you can microwave the plate as well, so I pack my daughter's lunch and then send it to daycare where they can warm it up without having to prep her food. It makes packing lunches so easy!! I only bought three, but I'll definitely buy more!! Although they don't suction to the table, they don't slip around so they are great for toddlers to use.

So we just ordered three more of these, but we’ve had three of them for over a year now. They are thick and sturdy. They have not broken down at all, and they don’t have any soap taste like some have said, but we don’t ever put them in the dishwasher. The lids are handy too.

Easy to clean, and a nice weight to them so they don’t slide off the table. I use a big silicone placemat underneath for added support. Simple design, and good for mealtime with my 20 month old. I used to use paper plates which were nice because they were single use, but would usually fall apart by the time we were done with the meal. I like these better.

I absolutely love these plates. I am not a fan of the suction bottoms, because they never work well, and my children seem to take those suction things as a challenge to make sure they dump the entire plate or bowl. These do not have suction bottoms and come in a variety of bright colors. This is my second time purchasing. The other set has lasted years! I only ordered another set, because a family member did not realize that using a sharp knife to cut food on the plate would also cut holes in the plate. These wash well and hold up to regular use very well!

ETA: Customer service is amazing. Added a star back for this reason. The company reached out after my review and made it more than right. We still have this issue with our plates, but love everything else about them so much that we’ve chosen to just deal with having to sometimes rewash a plate in order to keep using these for the things we love about them. Original review: I did my share of legwork choosing some new plates for our child, looking for something sturdy, safe, and child-resistant. Most of all, however, I was ready for dishes I could buy a few sets of in order to reduce the amount of hand washing I was doing. These seemed perfect for all I was looking for. Now, these are great quality plates and I love the lids. The silicone is sturdy, making the plate not flimsy, and it microwaves well if need be. The sections are spacious and the colors are fabulous! I love the plates. Unfortunately, they struggle in the main area I chose them for: dishwasher use. You almost have to hand wash the dish in its entirety before running it through the dishwasher for it to clean, which is an annoyance. I always thoroughly rinse and clear all of my dishes before putting them in the dishwasher, so sometimes I’m not even sure how these plates are retaining anything after a cycle—sometimes appearing dirtier than when they went in. This is not an issue I have with any other dishes I have, including other silicone toddler/baby dishes. I’m not sure if I got a set that is just funky or if this is indeed an issue across the board. I like the plates enough to not return them, because that’s even more of a hassle, but I won’t be buying additional sets like I had intended unless I somehow am made aware that this is a fluke and not how these dishes normally react. Super disappointing because otherwise these are great! I want to love them!

Update: The company did reach out to me and very nicely sent me a new set of the same plates to try. In my opinion the companies customer service is excellent and they do really care about their product (therefore I've changed the rating for outstanding customer service). I don't believe the issue is in how they are made but an inherent issue with the type of silicone used. Because of the issue with the original plates I can't use this because I worry I will be having my kids eat food that tastes like soap and I won't know unless I try everything fist. However the company has since sent me a set of bowls and plates that are made of bamboo and they are excellent. I have been using them for a couple of weeks now and I really like them. They clean really well and have nice high sides on the plates to keep the food from spilling with my toddler. I do wish they were divided like the original plates but I think this is a good example of how great the customer service is for the company and I wouldn't hesitate to buy another product from them in the future. It is just the silicone material that I would be weary of. Original Review: I used to love the plates. They are a great size and easy to clean, however, recently I’ve tried eating food off of my sons plate and noticed the food tastes like soap. I’ve only ever hand washed these and make sure they are thoroughly rinsed. Since noticing food has been tasting like soap I’ve been meticulous with cleaning and rinsing them and still the food tastes like soap. Unfortunately I will not be using these plates anymore which is disappointing since I bought two sets of these because I loved them some much.

I had previous sets of these plates for almost 3 years and really like them. They fit a great amount of food for my almost-3 year old. I would give 4 stars for the plates- would be 5 if the lids were dishwasher safe! But added the 5th star for Wee Sprout's customer service. One of the plates in my recent purchase had a defect and their customer service was friendly and responsive. They fixed the problem. It is rare to find a company that seems so reputable these days.

These are the best plates yet. They are perfect portion size for a toddler and super easy to clean. They don't stain even with pasta sauce! They are flexible and stick to the table surface well. They are not sectioned but the material keeps them from moving all over the table. They definitely are durable as they bend and don't break. The colors are very pretty. I'll buy more and they are a great gift for a new mama.

I am thrilled with these vibrant coloured plates! After three babies and all the yucky plastic, we switched to bamboo plates. But they were all broken within a week. I love that these plates cannot be broken by my little one. My favourite part is that they are oven safe - we don't like to use a microwave to warm food so it's easy to pop into the oven to warm up!

ordered these plates which we loved but they arrived in wrong color, after company read our review they shipped us new plates in correct color free of charge!! amazing customer service! will order these for birthdays and Christmases for years just because of the great service! (and these plates really are the bomb! they dont warp in dishwasher and hold their shape without smashing to bits when our little man hucks them across the kitchen!!)

Great plates, exactly as advertised. No suction which is fine as our baby hulk smashes anything we try to suction down anyway. Wash up great in the top rack of the dishwasher
