I have done a lot of research on EMF's for the last few years. No matter what you believe about EMF's, reducing your exposure to radiation and other disruptive energy sources is a win-win. I was able to put this product on myself easily and I have noticed my tinnitus is much less, sleep has improved, and I feel calmer.

I’m a skeptical person. I don’t believe anything I hear and half of what I see. I know manufacturers of products are always trying to trick you to get you to waste your money to buy stuff so I’m by nature less trusting of things that I buy. I was absolutely skeptical that the smart meter cloak would work and I figured what the heck 100$ and Amazon return… let’s see what happens. I didn’t do any EMF testing. I didn’t do any RF test testing. I just put it on for shiggles. The past three days that I’ve had it on I’ve had some of the best and deepest sleep that I’ve had in 2 or 3 years. The last time I had a good night sleep was before they replaced the meter for a smart meter 2-3 years ago. I can’t tell you to buy it and I can’t tell you it will even work for you but as a skeptic, I’m pretty surprised.

I bought an EMF meter that measures radio frequency field, electric field and magnetic field EMFs. I took readings of all 3 types of EMFs with the cloak on and off, and the cloak failed to make any significant difference on EMF levels from a health perspective. If you stand a few feet away from the smart meter or measure inside the house near where the meter is, the EMF readings are zero with or without the cloak. The only use for this cover is not for your health, but for slightly blocking radio frequencies, perhaps making it like a non-communicating meter. But why pay for a cloak when you can get a non-communcating meter for free (from my power company at least)? The radio frequency reading on the uncloaked smart meter was 0.05mW/m2 - 0.07mW/m2, and zero with the cloak...so this cloak makes only a tiny difference. I don't think this cloak is worth spending money on.

This durable cover works great to protect the meter digital readout and clear plastic cover from the sun! Without this cover my electric meter will be unreadable in 1-2 years. I live in Las Vegas and the intense sun burns out the meter display and causes clear plastic to yellow.

But I had to stretch out my cloak to fit my meter. Does its job fairly well, I live in apartment building full of radiation. Sadly this doesn't fix radiation coming from neighbors but will help significantly for your own apartment.

This is very well made and worth the price. You definitely get what you pay for. I only used about half a piece of the supplied weather stripping to get a snug fit on my meter. It took about 10 minutes to completely install including measuring the correct amount of weather stripping I needed to use for a snug fit. I only needed a medium size Phillips Screwdriver and a pair of Scissors to do the entire installation... Once I saw several videos online about these newer digital power meters and the EMF they put off it was an eye opener! It's no suprise how the FCC doesn't protect us from EMF on a good many devices! Educate and protect yourself and your family!

This is an excellent product. Much better than previous. It has more protection than the one without a front cover.

The shield does not work; detection of radiation within 13 feet of the meter. Duke Energy, my electric utility, can easily read the meter with the metal lid closed and latched.
