Are the bottles made of a very hard plastic? Or a plastic that will take squeezing/use over time?

The plastic is firm, but you can squeeze it. It’s definitely not hard or so stiff that it won’t give. I have had great success with them for travel.

Cleaning instructions?

I clean them by hand in the sink, also suspect they could go in the dishwasher.

Does the liquid dispense through a small hole when bottle is squeezed, or does it pour out through the full opening?

Bottles have a flip top. Liquid dispenses through a small hole. Perfect for hand sanitizer whether it be liquid or gel.

There are clear photos of the bottle open and closed right in the product description, as well as the dimensions. There’s a thin snap top as part of the cap that unscrews to fill the container. The entire bottle is maybe 3 inches tall and the cap top is a sliver of that.
