Is there an issue with opening the door with these magnets on them?

I haven't experienced any issues with opening the door since I've applied them.

How have these held up, for those who've had them up for a while? Are they curling at the edges? Fading? Losing their grip?

They look as good as the first day we put them on the garage door no curling, fading or falling off

Can i use the handels to open the garage door manually or are they just for looks??

Just for looks. The magnets are just strong enough to hold the handle to the door. If you pull on them they will just come off

Any suggestions? I have a 2 car 8 panel garage door. Each panel is 14” x 8.” The 4” sides of the squares are jammed together.

My squares are 15 x 9 1/2 and I only have about 3/4 of an inch between each magnet. Have you tried just putting 1/2 inch between each and see how it looks. I have a guess that it will look fine from the sidewalk. I love mine! The neighbors on each side of me bought them too! We look very cool!
