Shimano Ultegra FC Fishing Reel Stationary Reel - 1000 - C5000XG All Models

A reell woking so good, can be feel it is not one of the cheap ones... For this price is the best what ever can get.

So I received the reel with a T handle instead of the one in the picture, which I really wanted but had to stick with it because I needed it the reel quickly for a trip .

I just bought the C3000HCFG, thinking it was a 3000 size reel, wrong it’s the exact same size as my Stradic 1000 why, it looks like Shimano have decided the 3000 stands for nothing it’s the letters that matter. So I have returned mine as it’s to small for UK Bass fishing,

This 3000 reel has virtually no drag; .3 lb at low drag setting and 1.05 lb at the highest setting. So it is totally useless. I will contact Amazon on how to proceed. CORRECTION: The reel functions perfectly. It was my problem. I did not apply enough tape when I taped down the starting knot, while spooling line onto the reel. The tape/knot slipped free, so all my line was spinning on the reel hub.

I order this reel ,reached scheduled time. Great reel enjoyed very much.very smooth I specially enjoyed the handle knob.but I wish pool should be little big. Even though for better than what I had experience with previous reel. Happy for delivery and ultegra
