PLEASE READ An excellent product for the price and works very well. I almost deducted 1 star because I felt that there wasn't quite enough filling in the bags, but that would make them a lot heavier and they do squish nicely into the mitts. I was told to buy heat pads for my hands by my physio to enable me to do the exercises required for my arthritis. I chose these as being affordable and with reviews that seemed to indicate that they would be suitable. I was not disappointed! Note: The instructions in the leaflet are useless as they are for a completely differently product. The instructions on the mitts themselves are a little more useful but don't describe how to care for them, which is why some users have found that they don't work or burn. Basically, you take the pads out of one of the mitts, pop flat in the microwave and nuke for 40s. Check the temperature and increase in 10s increments till they get to the right temperature. Repeat for the other mitt. Whether you can get the pads for both mitts in at the same time depends on the size of your microwave. I found that my 900W microwave did the job in 90s for each mitt, so 3 minutes for both. Some people have complained that the mitts were damp after heating or that they burned. This is not a fault of the mitts, it's normal! The instructions do not explain how to care for this product. Science bit coming up, sorry, until I retired I was a science teacher so I can't help myself here. Microwave ovens work by heating the water in whatever you are trying to heat up. If there is no water, whatever is in the microwave will burn just like a pan that has boiled dry. Because there is water in the grains, microwaving will produce a moist heat, that's why they feel slightly damp when they are used properly. After repeated use the grains will dry out and that's why they can burn. You have to replace the water in the grains quite often. You do this by putting the pads in the microwave as usual, but also a small container of water in as well (about half a cup per mitt). This will create steam which will be absorbed by the grains, 'recharging' them. You will need to increase the time because you're heating the water as well, how much time depends on how much water and the power of the microwave. If you type microwave wheat bag instructions into Google or whichever search engine you use you will find more detailed information. I hope that this helps.

This item holds the heat for quite a time, comfortable and cosy. Easy to use and heat in the microwave.

There not good to big returned

My husband bought these microwave hand warmers for me to help with my arthritis pain & movement of my fingers. The hand warmers are just so amazing. The comfort & relief from pain, within a few minutes of microwaving the small bag which is inserted into a pocket on each outer glove, was unbelievable. The heat from each glove lasted for quite a long time. The gloves are made from soft material & are large enough to fit any hand size. I would recommend these very highly.

These gloves are amazing, the bright red wine colour is nice and gives them a warm winter Christmas feel, while the minky material is super soft and feels lovely on your hands while not making them sweaty which is important. Each glove has 2 insert in them (one for each side) which you can either warm up in the microwave or cool off in the fridge or freezer depending if you want to warm or cool your hands. They are a good size and plenty of space for adult sized hands. Overall, I think they are well made and work well, but each glove is just over 500gramms in weight so you need to rest your arms when wearing them otherwise they can be a workout for long periods of time. Bought as I suffer with osteoarthritis in my hands which are really painful in the cold. These gloves are a bit cumbersome however they’re worth it once yr hands are enveloped in warmth and coziness. The material is a lovely red velvet and they really are a treat for sore hands. Easy to heat up in microwave and the warmth lasts well. Fab find!

Sehr zu empfehlen. Die Rollatorhandschuhe umschließen den Griff und Bremse ohne die Funktionen zu stören, verbleiben durch die Befestigungsart gut am Rollator, sind aber auch gut abnehmbar. Die Hände werden schön warm gehalten.

These gloves worked perfectly for warming my cold hands. You obviously can't use them and type, but they are great for when I'm on zoom meetings. I just put both gloves in the microwave for 2 minutes, and they're nice and warm (and they're a good meeting conversation starter!). I read some reviews about burning, and I guess if you microwave them for too long, they can get really hot, but that hasn't been my experience.
