So happy I bought 2. My old remote stopped working. Put in new batteries. Couldn’t turn off tv until new ones came. No fuss. Worked immediately. No set up headache. I took the second one to the bedroom where I had one of those remotes with so many little buttons and had to turn on light to use. The new one worked perfectly. I was under the impression that I’d have to buy another clunky one should that one fail. I’m happy.

It turns out that for the elderly, three rocker switches and the one ring do not make for a useful remote. This remote, however, at least obliquely resembles the Samsung remotes of our ancestors, with buttons that do specific things when pressed, and a bespoke "exit" button to back out of recently committed sins, amen. It could be more rugged, Ma is rough on things these days. Buttons mashed in anger soon stop functioning. Which is why I order these three at a time, and dole them out like replacement goldfish when they die. RIP remote #6, you did your best.

Better than the original remote that comes with my TV because it has actual buttons instead of just spaces on the remote to press. Only issue is that I can't get it to turn the TV on and off.

Very cheap quality plastic. Buttons gets stuck. Many keys don't work. And on top there is no refund. only replacement. What do we do if we don't want a replacement of such cheap product.
