Love it. Very spacious microwave..quiet when heating your food. Opening was different side button which needs to be held with front button.. cleaning is easy.. recommend this one

Very quiet, easy to operate, sleek design, what else is there?
Read a lot of reviews on microwaves before settling on this model to replace my ten yr old GE. Didn't want too many preset settings, browning top, convection , etc..this one fit the bill and was well liked generally..in fact it operates just like my old one so there's no learning curve. It's white inside, which I like, although the light only comes on when it is cooking..can live with that.. As far as hitting the power button multiple times to get the desired power, as some reviews mentioned, does any one really cook at 20%?? I generally use 70-80%.. so not an issue. I haven't tried the Keep Warm function yet but that mode appeals to me. The best thing I like about it, in addition to its simple functionality, is how quiet it is compared to my old microwave . Even the beeps at the end are quieter. .. the only negatives I have found so far are that it is too small inside for oversized platters, but it handles a large dinner plate just fine, and the defrost function seems to be only for meat, i.e., can't defrost a muffin on auto defrost because it asked for number of pounds. Neither is a big issue for me..I am very happy with the size as I have limited space on my counter. Overall a great choice!

Excellent microwave oven
There's a question in this box that asks; "What did you use this product for?" -- Answer: 3 Guesses and the first two don't count. We went from a microwave oven that did a lot of things differently than this Panasonic oven. The former one had express buttons 1 thru 6 that needed only one touch to get the oven to go for 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6 minutes automatically - and 30 second button that did the same. This Panasonic doesn't have those features. The other oven would return your item in the oven to its original position regardless of how long you set it to cook. So, if you put your cup of coffee in it to be warmed, the handle was right there for you to pick it up when it was done - not on the other side where you can't get to it. The Panasonic does not do this. The other oven had the ability to silence the beep. The Panasonic does not. However, the other oven was loud when it was cooking, and although it claimed to be an 1100 watt oven, it cooked like it was a 700 watt oven, and left cold spots in the food (never figured how that could happen). - It also had a problem of the buttons making a beep when you touch them, but did nothing, and the turntable would jerk sometimes and something sounded like it was grinding rocks as well. The Panasonic does none of these either. It is quiet when its cooking. It's an 1100 watt oven, and you get every bit of those 1100 watts. It cooks very well and perfectly evenly. - Once you learn the different way to use the keypad, it becomes second-nature and no hassle at all. Although you can't silence the beep - the Panasonic beep is gentle and only lasts a couple seconds -- not 'wake-the-dead' loud and obnoxious that goes on and on like other ovens. And you cannot mistake what power level you set it at, as it requires you to push the power level button until you get to the power level you want. The other oven made it easy for you to "think" you set the power level correctly, and then as you food is charring, you realize the power level setting didn't take. So, overall - the Panasonic oven --- without all the "features" other ovens have - is a much better oven - is very easy to use and works like a charm in all functions of an oven. Worth the price and I recommend it.

Well worth the money. Powerful with a lockout option as well
Had to replace the old microwave after many years. Absolutely love the new lock button to where kids can't open it up and take out a hot plate or Bowl. Very much appreciated option here. I wouldn't say it's a space savor, but I will definitely say it's easy to use it's very powerful and the options are fabulous.

No return. Have to ship back for repairs. Have a good fire insurance
We bought this to replace a 20 year old Panasonic microwave expecting the same durability. It looks great an worked as expected for 2 months. During a 3 minute cycle the device stopped heating about 1 minute in although it was still running, maybe the fan. Then a burning odor followed and I unplugged the device. After about 1 minute I plugged it bac in and it immediately started to sound like it was running but no light on inside and turn table was no turning. Thu top of the oven was so hot it burned my hand when I touched it to move it to unplug it again. When we called Panasonic to report the problem they said they would send someone out to inspect it. Three days later we received a call stating there was no service center in San Antonio and they would send us a box to return the oven to be repaired. Wait a minute, we bought a new oven, if I wanted a refurbished oven I could have bought one. They said we did not buy it from Panasonic so we would have to accept the repair or buy a new replacement. My kids have an Emerson they bought over 6 years ago, my recommendation is to buy an Emerson. Panasonic sucks

I'm happy with the transaction.
Good product, good tracking information, good owners' manual, apparently good material quality. Arrived one day late of estimated delivery date, but still reasonable time from order to delivery.

DOES have child lock
Looking at the picture, I didn't think this had a child lock (It is for a work site...) but it does. Someone needs to change the picture to the actual front, with the child lock button.

Seems to be pretty good so far.
Replaced 900w microwave. Re-heating times reduced and many cool/cold spots are gone. It will take a while to get used to it. I have been using the microwave steadily for 10 months. There was bubbling over several of the digits and other buttons on the keypad. Chat with Panasonic online support and the problem was identified. A *very* hard-to-remove film was still over the keypad--and that was causing the bubbling. That was why the yellow label at bottom-left of the keypad was still there. I thought that label didn't peel off with the film because I could not otherwise get any of the film to come up until this chat. Was told to attach duct tape over the film and pull it off (yes, it is that firmly attached). Anyway, finally got it off and it looks good. No idea how long the microwave will last, but the numbers and control controls are now easy to read and access. Told the support tech they should put a tab on a corner or an end so people can just tell where to start peeling that protective film off the keypad.
