Our daughter specifically requested a "purple butterfly" costume for Halloween. Honestly, we were skeptical that we would be able to find it, but of course Amazon came through in the clutch. For the price, I was actually quite impressed by this. The wings were just the right size for a small sized 4-year old and have a solid wire structure that you can adjust the shape if desired, the wand was of decent quality for short-term use, and the tutu was nice also. Yes, there will be glitter around, but not an annoying amount. Overall, very satisfied with this purchase. As an aside, it survived Halloween night quite nicely, and I'm sure she'll be wearing it at every future costume opportunity (which for a 4-year old is basically every day).

Really sweet cost gym. My 2 1/2-year-old daughter work for Halloween. She is about 35 pounds and 38 inches tall, so the tutu was just fine. The straps on the wings were a little bit big but I was able to adjust the straps so that they fit around her arms properly. Overall, good product, good price and definitely something that your daughter would be able to use for dress up days as well as Halloween.

Very cute. The tutu peice is great and holds up well. The mesh on the wings and butterfly wand are a little delicate. When received, the ribbon at the end of the wand was loose. I superglued this back in and it's been fine since.

This is for my great granddaughter who loves sparkly dresses and she is going to love,it. She is a girly-girl at 3 years old.

Love this set. I purchased the purple set and my daughter received the pink set from a friend. Well constructed and great value. So much fun for her. Ordered the 2T/3T set. Wing straps and skirt are both big for her. She is 37” and 28 pounds at 2.5 years. Skirt does not fall off her and wings were easy to clip together, so sizing is not an issue. I like that she can grow into the set. I think the set would accommodate a variety of differently sized toddlers. Only complaint is the glitter from the wings (and wand) comes off easily. I had to vacuum the carpet after the first use, because of so much glitter falling off. I took the set outside and knocked off as much glitter as possible after that. May try some sort of spray to try to keep it “glued” on. For the price, though, I’m not disappointed. I would still highly recommend this set.

The wings were broken upon arrival, they were not fastened because the glue had not held them. I didn’t return because my kid was excited for the wand and tutu and already played with them. I will have to figure out how to fix the wings so she can wear them.

Our two-year-old absolutely LOVES THIS! It is absolutely adorable and as advertised out of the box, and has endured a lot of play since then. It does shed a bit of glitter and she kind of bent up the wand, but that's far better than a lot of similar costumes and play outfits. This is a great buy!

My little niece loves her fairy wings and tutu. It's been a month since I gave it to her for Christmas and everything is still together so that says a lot. She has 2 siblings and those kids are pretty tough on stuff. The only complaint I have is the tutu was very wrinkly with some pretty serious fold lines in it which are near impossible to fix with that material. It was packaged well inside a box so I have to think it was shipped that way. I believe it bothered me more than my niece because she really isnt seem to care.

It's great and my daughter loves it but the wand wire is broken and this is very dangerous for her. It looks like my only option is to return the entire package for a refund?
