Easy install. Plug and play.
The package arrived on time within 60 hours of the order. The magneto is a generic form-factor that works perfectly with my Briggs & Stratton I/C 14.5 engine in my vintage Lowes (MTD OEM) 42-inch riding mower. The old magneto had developed an internal (and thereby irreparable) break and this fixed the problem. The new unit just bolted in with the same hardware as the original. This particular replacement version includes both the HV spark plug boot and an anti-abrasion sleeve on the HV wire. Others in this price range did not. This was just plug and play. I will buy another if required to keep the mower operational.

Up and running again
Purchase this coil for my 2012 John Deere D100. The reason I gave it four stars was the wire could be a little bit longer. One more inch would be perfect. Other than that it’s a five star product. It works great. The engine starts right away. It seems like I’m very durable product in the installation took less than two minutes.

Proper fit and function. Good price.
Had a burnt coil on my 15.5 HP Briggs. Checked with my local small engine shop and they wanted to order one at around 60$. Did some online research and decided to take a chance on this product. Turned out to be a good choice at 1/3 the price.

Fixed craftsman mower
Mower started for the season, but died after a little while. Checked everything else and came to the conclusion that it must be the coil. Installed it and it worked great. It fit just like OEM, but for a much better price.
