I am finding some of it challenging. But in a good way. I feel that my guitar playing is improving by using this book and the other in the series. I highly recommend this book. I have just started the exercises in The Modern Guitar Method Grade 2. The are very interesting. I have just got back into playing the Guitar again after many years. I am finding some of it challenging. But in a good way. I feel that my guitar playing is improving by using this book and the other in the series. I highly recommend this book.

I have leaned to sight read and play using Book 1, so it made sense to buy the 2

Not bad books,it is taught in an old school way. No tabs but teaches you how to read music and the fretboard notes at the same time. Great books for younger kids who are beginning guitar and have someone to help guide them. Parent,relative,teacher etc. For older people who want to play guitar, 40 and over, there are other books that would be better.
