The data cable that came with my Hard Drive was barely 18 inches long, and backing up became a game of ‘where will I balance it this time’. I Bought a pack of two nylon braided data cables from JSAUX to add to my growing collection. I’ve quite a few now of varying types and lengths. They’re good quality cables in general and these two hard drive data cables are no exception.The first file I sent to my hard drive was one Gb in size, which I transferred using the one metre cable, this it completed in a little under eighteen minutes. I know it depends on what type of file you’re transferring so I’m honestly not sure if that’s fast or not, all that I know is, it’s fast enough for me and more importantly still, that the file transferred intact and working.A file transfer with the two metre cable and a slightly larger file of the same type was finished in around twenty minutes. Once again I’m a happy chappie.Excellent product as usual from JSAUX and I’ll continue to use these nylon braided cables for the foreseeable future.

The two USB cables are well packaged. The product is well manufactured to a good standard. The only drawback of the cable is its stiffness that makes a bit difficult to place your hard drive in the position you want. Otherwise they deserve a 5 star rating.

Bought this as the seagate hard drive wire worked itself loos from the hard drive all the time, this product provides a strong connection and my hard drive is working absolutely fine, bonus 2 lengths in parcel so used which was most appropriate and have a spare , can't fault the quality and the fact that it works really well , old hardrive wire connections had came loos this one is extremely well made 😀

Needed for a longer wire to use with seagate external storage. Works perfectly allowing for more flexibility than the stock size wire. Great wire.

Theoretically able to support up to 5Gbps transfer rates, most hard drives will attain top speeds of about 160-200 Mbps, occasionally higher. SSD's can be much faster but speeds will vary between technologies and may sometimes exceed 400 Mbps.As with other JSAUX cables, these appear to as well-made, using high quality connectors that share some similarities in appearance to those used in other cable types.As two are supplied, value is excellent!

Two cables both seem good quality and work OK. Good price for 2 cables.

Used the long one as it comes with 2 cables. These are robust build but obviously if you twist more than you should any cable will start fraying. Even if the battery is low, you plug in the long cable and carry on what you are doing as normal as the 2 meter length adds to your comfort. Brilliant product, if needed will buy again.
