SARLA Black Brown Hair Bun Extension Updo Drawstring Ballet Buns Hair Pieces for Women Lady Synthetic Donut Chignon

Our 5 year old daughter decided to cut all her hair two weeks before dance pictures and recital. I bought this bun in hopes it would help hide the fact her hair was short (plus lots of gel). This bun was amazing! It looked great, was easy to put on and lasted throughout pictures and class. Would definitely recommend!!

The hair looks very real when worn and is easy to “install”. You make a small bun of your own hair, pop the fake one on top of it. I do feel more secure when adding a couple of Bobbypins. I bought it because I was in that awkward phase of outgrowing a bob-cut and it did wonders. Note: it gives a very full effect with might look “fake” if your own hair is on the thinner side.

Good product for the price. As a black woman, I was a bit concerned it would look or fall right for my hair, but its actually looks really. the Draw string, makes it easier to place it right over your own hair bun and then pin around it, which is what I typically look. The messy look gives it some realism as it not bone stiff like some of these other buns. Some people will like that, some will not, I like it , I felt it made it look more realistic. I will say that I'm not sure how long it will last as it does seem a little loose at the root , but , for the price, absolutely was worth and if anything would just get another a few months. P.S. I got the black brown (1b) but it looks more like dark brown (color # 2) so it is lighter than expected. I would suggested whatever color you are seeking, get one shade darker.

Horrible to work with. The hair is attached to a stiff beige netting that has a pulley system. You have to get it over your own hair then pull the strings to tighten and then hide the strings. If you wear this at the back of your neck, like I intended, it’s impossible. The mesh is very stiff and the beige shows through. So sorry I bought this.

We needed a fake bun for a pixie haircut that needed to be in an updo for a ballet performance. The color is fairly accurate, maybe it was a touch lighter but it just looked like there were highlights. The bun is somewhat loose but there is a drawstring inside to pull it tighter. There are two clips deep inside the bun, but you’d have to have a real amount of hair in a smaller bun first to make that work. Since we weren’t really working with much hair (a tiny ponytail twisted into a French twist) we just used regular Bobby pins in a circular pattern to anchor it, and then lots of hairspray. It looks like it’s a real bun! The bun did come with a loose hairnet over it and I think as each performer comes and goes, the bun will require putting it up again, so we may add our own hairnet to help secure it. It also came with one dark hair band (ponytail holder) and two black Bobby pins.

The quality is great but the color is not accurate. They need more options for light blondes with a few low lights.

Middle Gray Chignon is what I bought and it is gorgeous and matches my hair exactly. I have mousy brown hair on top with a deeper brown underneath - all of which is graying from the front and edges toward the middle. So, I have a mixture of tones right now and I do not color my hair. I'm wearing this to my son's wedding and I practiced the bun with a decorative comb the other day... beautiful - see the pictures. It is easy to use with a little practice. PRACTICE before the event! My hair is only shoulder length naturally, so I needed one of those netting, "bun donuts" in a medium size to go over my ponytail and under this fake chignon to fill it out. So, get one go those if you need to. They look like sponges or netting with a hole in the middle - just like a donut. I used a taupe one and I also used matching bobby pins. (They also make dark brown and blond ones.) MATCH YOUR HAIR up with all that, so nothing shows. See my pictures. So far, it seems that I do not need hairspray - very secure. Anyway, it's looking great! Highly recommend.

Not recommended for absolutely having thin hair people . It’s comes in very large size . Not like it

Got this for my daughter since she cut her hair close to ballet competition season and we couldn’t get a full bun in, this was amazing! Matched her hair fairly well, looked natural and I came off like a dance mom hero, got so many compliments!

The hair of the bun was loose and all fell out. Didn’t stay like the pictures show. It also appeared not truly black. It had a grey hue to it. Returned item.
