Large easy to read globe
A large size globe so that all countries are clear to see. A mini magnifying glass is included but we haven't had to use it. Really enjoyed finding all the places we have visited.Bought to use with a 5 year old who is showing an interest in countries and where they are in the world!

bright and colourful and spins easily
When this globe arrived I was surprised that my husband was so pleased with it.It is a bit cheap looking. Then he said he had never had one and I remembered as war children we did not get luxuries. I think I remember getting a small tin one .As far as accuracy goes with or without a globe geography was never a strong point with me. This globe has strong bright colours and spins easily and my husband is fascinated by it

Broken on Christmas Day
Looks good but very flimsy construction if you pick it up without supporting the base it falls apart. The top pin broke off the first time my grandson picked it up. It lasted all of half an hour.

Its a globe for kids
Like any other globe available in the market, it gives an overall idea of the apolitical geographical location of the world. When I checked the in a political perspective, there were so many mistakes- for instance, the state Kashmir looks like a separate country. If I keep aside those controversial political facts, and move on to the quality of the globe, It actually is a good product to have for your YOUNGER kids.

Absolute purchase recommendation - even for use in school
The globe arrived in beautiful packaging and arrived safely. The QR codes for the app (iOS and Android compatible) are located on the packaging as well as on the easy-to-understand insert in the box. This can be loaded on different devices, but the many detailed functions of the app require some storage space. The globe can now be fitted with a standard battery (so that it can light up) and can then simply be screwed into its solid stand. If everything is ready to go and the download has taken place, you can start. Both children (4 and 7 years) were allowed to work on the globe with our iPhones at the same time.Without any help, they reached the attractive main menu. This is divided into three sections. Space; Wildlife and countries. These three categories are in turn broken down into three further areas. For our daughters, the animal and plant world was the focus of primary interest. Here they increasingly chose the land animals and sea creatures. Hold the cell phone briefly on the mainland and a large (country-specific) animal world appears on the globe. The animals can be clicked, make corresponding movements and noises. If necessary, additional information can be released via the yellow microphone. The device does not have to be held continuously over the globe. As soon as you move it away from it, for example to zoom in on the animal, a small globe appears on the mobile phone, which can also be used to continue working.Easy to use, great activity for the kids.Later, mother also quietly dared to use the app on her own, which immediately made her teacher's heart beat faster. Because there are still amazing places to visit in this section (like certain deserts or mountains and of course the option to get information about them). But the other over-headings also had it all. For example, there is also the universe theme world. The solar system appears in its arrangement. The individual planets can be admired, and the earth can be examined down to the core (also here with detailed information). Back on earth, spaceports can be visited. There is also a small game hidden here in space. The third exploration area includes the countries. Here the first discoverers can be visited on their ships, the political world order can be explained by tapping the flags and various sights can be admired.I'm clearly thinking of the GPG (history, politics, geography) class in my middle school. For free work (with corresponding assignments), group work or working with devices and projectors, this is a nice, clear didactic way to use the globe in the classroom.Clear purchase recommendation.
