Quantum Throttle Spinning Fishing Reel, Dura-Lok Anti-Reverse Clutch

This Quantum reel is very nice. I have fished for about 30 years using all sorts of spinning and baitcasting reels. This 30/3000 size reel is compact for it's class size. The frame is very rigid. The drag is very smooth; I believe it is carbon fiber. I did add a drop of synthetic oil to the (easy-to-access) bearings for slightly improved performance. I have fished this already and like the smoothness of the retrieve and the bail functions very well. Fifteen pound braid is on the reel and I like that over monofilament. I think if you spend $20 or $30 more on a reel, it could be a little better but it won't catch more fish. Also this reel comes with a 5-year warranty -hard to beat that! The baitcasting Throttle is not as smooth as this Throttle spinning reel is.

Excellent quality for a reasonable price. Bail is quiet, drag is very smooth throughout the entire range, casts really well. I’ve had great success with Quantum Level winds for steelheading, and needed a replacement spinning reel after my old (no name) drag failed. Very pleased with this one.

This reel runs line like a dream, as it should with 10 ball bearings. I am not sure what swayed me to try this reel. I have been thrilled with my existing reels and had not reason to change. I am glad I did. I think this is as a good value. I love almost everything about it. My only complaint is the handle, and that is an inconvenience at most. I like collapsible handles on my reels for ease of storage and transport in tight spaces. The handle on the Quantum does not fold. The only way to save space is to remove it completely and risk misplacing or losing it. While minor, that can be a big deal for me when maximizing usable space on a trip. I figure some financial analyst probably saved 25 cents per reel in manufacturing cost going with a fixed crank handle over a folding handle.

I've bought many reels, and many brands. Quantum has always delivered for me. Even when I was young. The rod and reel would bounce around the bed of my old Ford. They still function smooth to this day. I always bought low to mid grade $60 to $100

The spool is junk but the reel is pretty good and smooth going to test if it is saltwater proof like it’s said

My wife's real got broken and this was a highly rated real at a much lower cost than replacing the real that we had lost. After taking it out a couple times casting and catching fish on it, it performs just as well as much more highly priced reels.

Çok iyi ip sarımı var, ele alınca kaliteli hissi çok iyi, fabrikasyon olarak iyi yağlanmış olsa akarıda çok iyi olacakmış. ilk bakışta nasci seviyelerinde kaliteli dursada biraz inceleyince fark ortaya çıkıyor. Pinyon dişlisi prinç bile olmaması ilginç yarı fiyatına aldığınız makinelerde bile pirinç olabiliyor büyük ihtimalle çinko alüminyum alaşım, test ettim çelik olmadığı da kesin. Dişli sistemi etli ancak malzeme olarak güven vermedi mat renkli yumuşak bir alaşım hissi verdi. Asıl olaya geleyim genel olarak yağlanmamış kafada pinyon dişlisi kısmına gres koyulmuş o kadar ana şaft vs kupkuru bundan dolayı ağır dönüş hissi var biraz seri çevirince sanki içinde kum varmış gibi hışırtı hissediliyor ve ses alınıyor. Üretimi durdurulmuş bir ürün olduğundan uygun fiyata satılıyor ancak tam olarak bu fiyat ederiymiş zaten, uygun fiyatından dolayı şu anda iade edip etmeme konusunda kararsızım.
