While the gasket did not sit flush with the edge of the lighter core bottom, I figured out that it was likely by design, as the lighter body still had no problem sliding into it's casing. I've seen some reviews where folks have mentioned trimming the edge of the gasket, but I would avoid that unless you absolutely cannot get the body to slide into the casing. The only concern I had was the small size of the fill hole on the bottom, but that concern has vanished now after a few fillings. It uses a standard Zippo insert, which is going to be the same size as this. **Q: Zippo Flint is too big, so where do I get proper Flint for this?** A: My insert uses the same flints My zippo does. Filled both and both were empty by the end of a month.
