Great quality
Very good quality! They have a double zip feature to keep whatever you fill them with inside the bag. I use these to keep my dog agility equipment in place and they work very well.

Good purchase for the price
Durable sandbags, double zipped. I filled mine with pebbles so there is no worry of leaking sand and it would also be less likely to become dirty. I ordered the pack of six and used them to load my tripods and lighting stands and they worked just as expected. Good purchase for the price.

Does Not Include Sand
First of all, it does not come with sand or any other sort of ballast. That said, when full it provided ample stability to a number of camera mounting situations. It also works well as a counter weight in heavy winds when anchoring my carbon fiber tripod.

Sturdy and functional
These ballast bags are robust. The double zippers are a great feature. I filled each side pouch with 7 lbs. of steel balls (3/8”) placed inside a ziplock bag. With 14 lbs. of weight, i think these will hold down a mic stand, guitar stand, or light stand quite well.

Faulty zipper’s needs a better redesign
I’m not sure of the durability or stability. The zippers they have on these bags are horrible I had 12 sandbags to fill and half of them only one zipper worked. Most of the zippers that were the inside fell off the only zipper that worked was the zipper on the outside. One of the sandbags I had to completely throw away. Design suggestion use Velcro heavy duty Velcro would solve this entire problem

Great product.
These worked great to weigh down our outdoor lighting at our Harvest Festival. We used them on lightboxes and they were sturdy. I used gallon sized ziploc baggies and filled them with sand and put them in to the zippered pockets. It helped keep the inside of the bags clean.

Pretty useful
Great for holding down stage equipment. This 6 pack gave me more than enough bags and weight to hold my stands down. My boom stands needed it the most since they were so wobbly. These saved me from having to purchase heavier stands and with how easy they are to fill, it's a quick fix!

Almost awesome
The nylon fabric feels strong and well stitched. The handle feels the same. The only problem is one of the inner zippers came apart with no effort whatsoever. They're sewn so far in that there's no obvious way to reassemble it. Aside from that, I'm happy with the product.

I had no idea just how much using a sandbag would open up my photography. I have used them for weighing down tripods and light stands, but had never thought of using them to support my DSLR camera. The "NEEWER Sandbag for Photography" works great for this. I am getting new kinds of shots that I would not have normally attempted, adding a new level of creativity. It's easy to set up the sandbag into place and position my camera on top of it, so that it is stable. There are 2 adjustable side straps that help support the shape of the bag (the amount of bend in the middle). You can fill it with sand, uncooked rice, or other such material. It has carrying handles and also a detachable shoulder strap. The opening is held together with hook-&-loop material. This sandbag is pretty versatile, too, as it can be used equally well as a stabilizing weight for tripods. For the purpose it serves, the quality is great. I'm looking forward to using this more often on hikes in the forest. The NEEWER Sandbag for Photography gets 5 stars from me!
