I love the soft texture..real silk. The design is bold yet tasteful for coats, sweaters. The outlines of the design are dark brown , not black.

I am a scarf hoarder. No shame. I own it. I agree with a previous reviewer who loves the feel of silk but not the maintenance that goes with it. These scarves are a beautiful alternative ("silk-feeling polyester"). The fabric is smooth and sleek, the colors are vibrant and lush, the material drapes beautifully - and I can machine wash them on the delicate cycle with no problems. I did use a mesh garment bag to keep the scarves from snagging on the other laundry. I purchased seven of these scarves on Monday. They came carefully packaged, in two layers of wrapping - an outer zip-top bag and an inner plastic bag. Each scarf was identical to its photo. I am very pleased with my purchases, and since the vendor kindly included a 10% off coupon for a future purchase, I'll be buying more! Highly recommend this product.
