Does this adapter accept regular pcie nvme ssd and not the original 2014 apple ssd? one review seems to say so, just want to be sure.

It works very well with Sabrent 1TB Rocket NVMe PCIe M.2 2280 Internal SSD High Performance Solid State Drive (SB-ROCKET-1TB). Please get the heatsink for it too.
