Upon opening, I was pleased with the packaging and the unique shape of the bottle. Initial application was very positive, in fact, too good to believe, for the price. Subsequent dry down was very good with the scent being different but great. I appreciate different results for different people, as most "scent collectors" can understand. All subjective. I'm really disappointed with the longevity ( rather the lack thereof) for the fragrance. I'm not even certain that you could bath with 20 sprays, to get past 3 hours with this. Yes, I know how to apply a fragrance! Lol! Perhaps I was pleased with purchasing this at the low cost and the surprise of the scent being great with this blind buy, that my disappointment with the duration would override the positives. Unless, of course, you wish to carry it in your pocket for a refresher every hour.

I adore this cologne. It is very unique and original and I don't have anything else that smell like it. I'm getting a masculine dark scent with a hint of black and blue berries. Would def. buy again.

Nice spicy woody cardamom with some fruit undertones. I find it to smell "in the realm of" YSL Y. The DNA is similar but not exact. It definitely has it's own profile.

THE PHYSICAL PRESENTATION IS AMAZING. THE OVERALL SCENT IS AVERAGE. FOR THIS ONE PRODUCT, IT IS NOT UNIQUE AND DOES NOT STAND OUT. HOWEVER, THAT IS MY OPINION. SOMEONE ELSE MAY FEEL DIFFERENTLY. Mauboussin HAS PRODUCTS THAT I ABSOLUTELY LOVE. THIS IS NOT ONE OF THEM. TRY IT FOR YOURSELF... IT IS WORTH THE TRY. PLUS, THE SCENT STAYS WITH YOU MOST OF THE DAY.
