It fit well over my Seagate 1TB hard drive that is 3" x 4.5" in size. I think it will work well protecting it from bumps and dings on my desk. It was easy to put on and once it's on it give a nice thick rubber base for the drive.

I know the hole is there for the Seagate brand to be seen, but this causes a small problem with function. On most drives/enclosures, like with the Orico one pictured, the hole is a structural weak point and allows the corner to be pulled underneath by the solid surface underneath. Straighten it up, and watch it slowly pull around on its own. Otherwise, this would be a five star review.Plastic drive enclosures slide off of each other and surfaces very easily. This product handily prevents that from happening.Value for money? Great. Quality of material? Great. Fits many drives and enclosures from many brands.I just wish the hole in the one corner wasn't there! Is there a hole-free version available as pictured? If so, I want several of them!

Remember, there are different sizes, I got them all and they work! No more sliding across the desk, they stay where I put them and don't cover the drive like a blanket, so the drive stays cool.

good quality and good price

Easily wraps around your HDD for mobile use. I use HDD for portable music connected to my head unit in my car and wanted something to wrap around it just in case it ever suffered a drop. This Rancco set of three was the best option for the money/value, protecting the unit from damage and looking sleek, too. It also helps camouflage the HDD because it doesn't look like anything anyone has seen, even though the HDD is hidden. The silicone also helps hold on to the HDD to prevent it from being dropped.

Holds drive from slipping and keeps it safe in case of drop

I have dropped these small, slick cases too many times. I searched for close to an hour to find a hard case for this drive. This one is not perfect--i would have liked something closer to a phone case, but it gets the job done well, keeps the drive from slipping off a cramped table, and cushions it's fall. Very satisfied and highly recommend.
