Ive bought these multiple times. I tie my own but these are nice to have ready. These are better than any fox or korda pre tied hair ive ever gotten. Every fish pictured was caught on a Yoto size 4. I have caught hundreds of fish, many in the 25lb+ range. Never had a hook straighten or even try to. Not once. Never had the leader break. And the tip stays sharp through 4-5 fish, which is plenty. I rarely review , but seeing the bad anglers in the comments saying they're breaking the hooks, i had to set the record straight! Great hook that will never lose a fish.

Was able to land 4 nice carp and catfish with this rig. I was skeptical of the reviews claiming weak hooks until I had one straighten out on me. I guess for the price they’re not bad just accept that lost fish can happen due to potentially weak hooks.

This is a good kit if you need pre-tied hair rigs. The bait stops and baiting needles are nice to have. Up until now I've used small circle hooks for carp, but decided to give the "European style" rigs a try. My original review was 3 stars because I wasn't having any success with hookups and I even snagged some fish by accident. But I realized that my weight setup was wrong. I was using a traditional "slip" style weight (where the line can travel through the weight as the fish pulls out line) which is not what you want. You actually want a fixed/semi-fixed weight that will stay stationary on the line so that the weight of the lead actually sets the hook for you. Once I gave that a try, I started getting more hookups. Not sure if these are actually more successful than a traditional circle hook yet, but my confidence in them is back. My one criticism I still have is that the hooks are not sized the same way as most hooks here in the US are. The size 6 hair rig hooks are actually equivalent to US size 8 hooks. This isn't the end of the world as a smaller hook is harder for the fish to detect and they seem very strong for their size, but it is something to look out for.
