Changed out the bearings (to bones reds) and noticed a ton more speed. Needed a bit more so I swapped from the 52mm 100s to 54mm x99s. It's buttery smooth and almost too good now. Decks got some expected wear. Don't grind much but the trucks seem solid so far aside seeming to loosen too much after every session (I have to re-tighten before every morning and I don't do anything wild). I bought him the 7.75" width, standard board and he was ecstatic. Before I bought it, I watched a few videos where semi-pro skateboarders talked about the different width and as far as tricks go, maybe the narrower would be easier to accomplish for a rookie but pros found little difference between the widths. And, just an aside, I asked my grown son what size I should buy, based on what his needs were as a young boy starting out and he said "honestly mom? I just cared about the cool graphics!" So there you have it :) **Q: What’s the weight limit?** A: I can tell you that I ordered the skateboard for my son who is over 6 feet tall and roughly 220lbs. For the price, this is a great option. Light weight, bearings are a little iffy, but what can you expect, I'll probably change those.
