I like to use the Redken Blondage Purple Shampoo and Conditioner Set 1–2 times per week, and it really helps give my grey a nice boost. The purple tones brighten and keep brassiness away, while the conditioner leaves my hair soft and manageable. A great choice for maintaining vibrant, healthy-looking grey or blonde hair!

Starting with my hair type, for context: I have extremely coarse hair, with a far too healthy supply of red pigment/tones. I was born with red hair that turned a yellow blond in my early years, to a very dark blond in my teens. So when I go blond, I have to go strong on the bleach/developer and with ash toner. Otherwise, I'm a brassy carrot head. And I've always fought a swift return of brass between bleaching. I must incorporate a color-depositing shampoo and conditioner to keep the brass away. But I also need a nourishing product to counter-balance the chemical damage. Redkin Blondage has been the first to successfully deposit color; and nearly eliminate the both breakage and the appearance of damage. Love it!

This is truly the only blonde shampoo that actually gets rid of brassiness. The packaging is good as it doesn't leak and the product smells great. My hair is not dry or oily after using these products. If you are bleach blonde (like I am) just be careful how long you leave the shampoo on, as it will turn your hair a tinge purple! But it will go away in a couple of washes. My hairdresser compliments me every 4 months (I get balayage) when I go to see him that my blonde has held up super well, and it's this set of shampoo and conditioner that I owe it to.

I tried this purple shampoo and conditioner set to help with blonde hair maintenance. The shampoo definitely tones down yellow/brassy tones and makes my hair look brighter. The conditioner is okay, but I feel like both can be a little drying if used too often. I now use them just once or twice a week, and that works better for me. The scent is nice, and overall it does the job, just make sure to use a good moisturizing treatment alongside.

This brand of purple shampoo and conditioner works and feels great! The smell is amazing! My blonde highlights last longer and never turn brassy! Well worth the money and great price!

Had purple added in the lengths of my hair back in August. Bought this immediately afterwards. It is now February and my lengths are still purple.....love it!!!

My friend recommended this product and I was too cheap to buy it previously. She has white blonde hair and keeps it that way through this shampoo and conditioner. Now I understand why. This picture was taken after my first wash with the shampoo and conditioner. She only uses the shampoo. I would totally recommend this for anyone who wants to get the brassy tones out of their hair. Such a good product!!!! Love it!!

Super shampoo and conditioner, absolutely does what it says. Gets rid of brassy tones in silver hair and leaves hair soft and smooth. Very, very excellent results after just one wash. Will continue with this set from now on.
