The specs are a little bit better than OEM for WH-1000X4M Sony Noiseless. If you are a heavy listener and you put your battery through many charging cycles or you charge frequently with little discharge during use you may find you have a battery failure sooner rather than later. This is the battery to replace your old one. But if you are surprised that your battery is not charging and all you did was not use the headphones for a while then you need to perform a series of tests on your headphone before replacing the battery. You can find advice on YouTube "SONY WH1000XM4 Battery Troubleshooting & Repair - No Power, Won't Charge & Short Battery Life Fix". I am not associated with this fixer, but he addresses the checks that most videos do not. You may have to go so far as to unplug the battery, but that very well may be all you need. It involves a little headphone dismantling but is simple and easy to reassemble. Then if you still have to get a new battery you will be ready to just drop the new one in and seal her up.

UPDATE 9/16/2023 Battery after almost 90 days will no longer charge beyond 50% A number 1 indicator that this battery is no good. Do not recommend this battery I can't complain about the Sony original battery. It lasted two years of almost nonstop use. But all that being said it did finally started to give up. Being that a New headset would be around $200.00, I decided to replace the battery. I ordered the replacement from Amazon for $17.00. Replacement was easy and an exact fit. You just have to be careful with handling due to delicate thin wires and connections. As a matter of fact, I think it took me longer to put the ear cushion back on then it took to replace the battery. The one issue I had, and the reason for the ((4 STAR rating)), is that the replacement did not include a piece of double stick tape to affix the back of the battery to its holder. The battery came with a 70% charge so that I was able to test the headphones. All OK. The battery took a full charge in a relativity short time and 24 hours later no issues. Obviously, I am not able to address the durability and longevity, but as of this moment everything looks good and with a GREAT cost savings to boot. So I do recommend this replacement

This is the perfect replacement battery for the Sony Wh1000XM4 headphones. I really loved these headphones, used them for over 4 years without any issues, until eventually they stopped charging anymore. I was really sad, so I kept them around for many months even though they didn't work. Eventually I figured I should try and repair them, and learned that when the headphones don't hold power anymore, it's almost always the battery that is bad. I found this battery for cheap, and it's even slightly larger in capacity than the factory one. The connector was perfect and it clicked right in to place. Headphones are working again and I'm super happy with the larger battery. Highly recommend this product for your headphones.

With the use of videos out there this was a very easy install. Do not throw out your headphones! This solved the blinking / no red light and no charge situation. This battery is a perfect fit for XM4's.

I've had my Sony headphones for about a year now and for some reason they just stopped charging. The light would turn off like they were done charging but the voice would always say 50% or less when I would hit the status button. After replacing this battery which was pretty easy, about six screws and a piece of double-sided tape it now charges properly and works just like new.

I wanted to speak with seller directly to resolve without leaving a review but there was no easy way to do so. I purchased a WH-1000XM4 replacement battery but it never worked. It does not charge. It says Low Battery even if I charge it overnight. I do need a working battery. Could you please let me know if this battery is tested and functional, or arrange a replacement or refund?

i dont know if the battery works, the thermal sensor that came with the new battery was bad.

No suelo escribir reseñas sobre los productos que compro en Amazon. Pero creo que sobre este vale la pena. Mi Sony WH-1000XM4 empezó a dar problemas en cargar la batería, y me tenía fustrada sin saber cual era el problema. Hasta que investigando en YouTube me di con el posible problema que podría estar ocurriendo a mi auricular. Y desde luego me puse a buscar en Amazon si había alguna batería similar a de mi Sony. Es la mejor compra que hice sin duda. Yo misma la cambié, si eras un poco manitas y con mucho cuidado, podes hacerlo tu mismo. Hay vídeos en YouTube que te lo explica como hacerlo. Al cargar el auricular, la luz de encendido no se pone, lo que lleva a pensar que no funciona, pero dejalo cargando y esperas, se carga perfectamente. Hace dos semanas que lo cambié, y de momento va perfecto. Relación calidad-precio, un 10👌🏻
