Shop Fox D2751 125V/250V Paddle Switch

This is the exact replacement switch for my Shop Fox W1712 belt/disc sanding station. I bought my station used at auction and the switch was missing. This works perfectly and fits in the same switch box opening.

The switch on the HF cement mixer broke on second use which was over the 90 days warranty. First use was mixing 4 bags of mortar. The second use was for a concrete slab and failed in the middle of the job, I was able to make it work if I kept it pressed it hard enough on the on position. I did call Harbor Freight to see if they would help me out, but they're pretty strict on the 90 day warranty limit and the switch was on backorder anyway. So I ordered this switch from Amazon and it fit exactly where the old switch goes and it works perfectly. The old switch felt flimsy, this switch feels solid, better build. You will have to break the old switch to get it off the metal plate and once it's off the new one slides right in.

I installed the Shop Fox switch on a vintage Hitachi Planer F1000A. The original switch had its electrical contacts oriented differently and the box it installed into was a little small but I splayed the Shop Fox electrical contacts out to 45 degrees and the plug-on connectors fit fine and the switch box also fit fine. The push-on body was a tight fit into the opening and I squeezed the outer clamps tight to the body and was able to squeeze the switch into the opening and it locked in place. See the attached picture for the result. An excellent result especially given it installed on a machine it was not meant for. I really like having the quick power off paddle vs the simple toggle that was there before.

Fit perfectly in my cheap old table saw. Works fine; now I don't have to hunt for that toggle switch to shut the saw off. I just hit the paddle, and it's off. It's a big improvement.It was a little fiddly to get it installed, but that's because of the way they wired the original switch, not because of the way this one is made. I had to splice an extension onto the ground wire.The yellow panel is supposed to come off to act as a lock-out, but I can't get it off. Not a big deal for me, because I don't leave the saw plugged in, and don't have small children around.

Bought this for my ridged table saw as the original quit working. The new switch works great and was a direct fit would buy again.
